Mike
(You're 18 in this)
For some reason all of the kids had decided to go to the lab to solve something, and all Mike left you was a note saying where he was, don't follow him, and that if he didn't make it back he loved you.
You wanted to have hope that he would come back eventually, but you just couldn't. You cried a lot, until finally you got a call.
"Hello?"
"Hey darlin', it's me. It's Mike. I'm back."
You just hung up. You couldn't stand him. He leaves you like that and when he calls you back he just.. he starts it like that?
You went somewhere else to get away from your phone and about twenty minutes later you heard a knock on your door.
You went over to get it and it was Mike.
You tried shutting the door on him, but he pushed it open. "Y/N, I'm sorry okay?"
You walked over to sit down without talking to him. He closed the door and walked towards you. "Y/N, I really am sorry."
You ignored him still.
"Babe..."
When he realized you weren't going to respond, he sat down next to you and grabbed your hand.
As much as you wanted to pull away, you were still desperate for attention so you let him rub your hand.
"Y/N, I know you're upset," he said after a while. "And I know I was being stupid leaving you with only a note in my room, not even a call. I don't know what we going through my head. I should have told you. I promise I won't ever do that again. I'll tell you when something happens, okay?"
You still didn't say anything and he let go of your hand. He took a circle around the couch before cupping your face. "I'm so, so sorry, Y/N."
You nuzzled into his hand. "It's okay... I'm sorry too.."
He hugged you. "It's okay.."
He just sat there holding you for a couple of minutes, before he asked. "Is there any way I could make it up to you, baby?"
You smiled. "Well... there is one way.."
"What is it?"
You climbed on top of him. "This.."
Dustin

(I think you would be either 11 or 12 in this one)
It was Dustin that went missing in the Upside Down. Every one of his friends had joined him (and Joyce did too to help Will) and you decided that you would go and help his friends because you knew, you had a feeling, you knew that that was what you needed to do to get him back. (La dee da they do everything with his mom I know it isn't what would happen but deal with it and you finally saw him in the hospital when he woke up.
You, and his mom started crying. His friends told him everything, but all he really wanted was to see you.
Once his friends had stopped bombarding him you went over to him and basically hugged him.
"Hey, Dusty.."
"Hey, N/N.."
"I've missed you so much.."
"I've missed you too."
You smiled. He was going to be okay.
Your Dustin was going to be okay.
Lucas
(You're 13/14 in this one)
He had tried getting into the Upside Down with all of his friends when Billy was the host, but it didn't end up working and they all ended up in a sort of coma. It wasn't like they were possessed, they just weren't responding.
However, after about two weeks, all of them slowly started to wake up. The first was Mike, second was Dustin and third was him. (And Will ended up getting out of it fourth)
You let his family go in first but as soon as they were done you ran in. "Hey, baby.."
He smiled at your voice. "Hey hottie."
"You just woke up and you're already being a pervert, I see."
"But you do love me."
"Yeah, I do. I just think you were completely stupid to think that would work."
"Oh thank you."
"Promise me you won't ever do that again."
"I can't promise that. I'm sorry. Y/N."
You scoffed. "You can't keep putting yourself in danger. Look at Will! He's still in a fucking coma because of what you and your friends did. You need to realize that one of these days you could actually get hurt and I love you too much to let that happen!"
And with that you left, not wanting to talk to him about it anymore.
Will
(You're 17... anyone know what's special about that age and your relationship?)
He had somehow got himself stuck in the Upside Down again, and you were devastated. You didn't want to go insane like his mom did, so you kept her okay and took care of her as best you could.
El got him back to you guys, and it was just like the last time it had happened... only his friends weren't the first ones by his side once he woke up.
You were.
"Y/N?" You hadnt even noticed he was awake yet.
"Oh my gosh, baby.." you walked over to him because you had been pacing the room. His mom was still holding his hand and she was smiling while tearing up. Joyce wasn't even mad, she was happy that he had found someone like you.
You caressed his cheek. "I've missed you, babyboy.."
He smiled softly. "I missed you too, love.." and then he looked over to his mom. "Hi mom.."
"I'll leave you two alone for a minute and get everyone else," you told Joyce and Will.
They both smiled and nodded.
You ran over to get everyone and Johnathan and Nancy were the first ones up. You rolled your eyes, pissed with his friends for not caring enough.
You let them have a while and sat out in the waiting room. After a while his friends and brother came back so you went back in.
"They're gonna let him out early," Joyce said.
"Hm?" You asked.
"Sorry, I mean they're letting him go home tonight since nothing seems to be wrong.." Joyce said.
"Are you sure that's what you want?" You asked to Joyce, and Will, but mostly Joyce.
"Yeah," Will said. "I want to go home, Mom."
She wearily agreed.
"Can Y/N stay over?" Will asked
"Yeah, of course. If that's fine with them," she told him.
"Id love to," you said.
