The Four walked to their seats as they had agreed. Robin had gone with them because Emma wasn't going and otherwise there were too few of them. He had stayed in the car and watched the spectacle. They had gone to the neighborhood/forest twenty minutes in advance to set up. Beside the road there were some trees they could hide behind so they couldn't be seen. Alexa had taken her place on the roof of House... and was watching the road. She could see Sky standing behind one of the trees beside the road. When she looked a little closer she saw Jane sitting in the garden below her. Jane looked up at her and nodded. "Okay, good. This isn't scary at all. We're not going to do anything stupid. we're going to do what Sky said and hold back." Alexa looked around her, searching for Sky. Four hours ago, he had proved her right, as had Sam. She was right! Jessie was the killer and she would prove it to the others today. Suddenly it went black before her eyes. She grabbed the edge of the roof just in time to keep from falling and sank to her knees. Everything around her was black. She tried to turn around, but she couldn't. It was as if she was stuck to the ground. She had nowhere to go. All she could see in front of her was the road. she could see from afar that someone was coming. She tried to send a signal to Jane, but couldn't get her mouth open. The moment she had opened her mouth she began to call out. "Jane! Jane! Someone is coming! Jane!" But no one could hear her. No sound came out of her mouth. She tried to lift her hand, but couldn't get it to move. "Jane!" No response. She looked down and suddenly saw Jane sitting beside the road. Alexa looked around her. She hoped she could see Sky and Robin somewhere too, but she didn't see anyone. Suddenly her gaze flew back to the road and she saw the figure coming closer and closer. She looked at the person coming toward Jane. "Jane, watch out!" Alexa called out. The person looked up at her with a grin. "You don't think Jane's here, do you? How unfortunate..." Jessie looked back at Jane and took hold of her head and pointed it at her. "So, so, Jane newton is on her own." "I'm coming after you, Jessie. Be sure of that," Alexa said, gritting her teeth. She heard a small tap behind her and turned her head. Suddenly she saw Sky standing by the road, behind a tree. "Sky! Sky! Can you hear me! Get Jane out of there! Get them out!" Jessie started laughing loudly. "Do you really think there is anyone out there who is going to be able to help you! Stop it Alexa. There's nothing more you can do. I've won. I'm going to make your lives miserable and you're not going to be able to do anything about it." "Why?" asked Alexa suddenly. "Why, Jessie? Why?" "Is that your question? Why am I doing all this? I'd better ask that question of you. Why are you wasting time on these people now. You call them your friends, but are they really?" "Shut up Jessie. You don't know anything about this." "Ah no? Why do you think Jane didn't tell you anything about your powers and the others did? She doesn't trust you Alexa. She doesn't trust you. are they really your friends then?" "You don't know what you're talking about," Alexa replied. She turned her head away and looked at her hands. "Why do you think Robin didn't say anything?" Jessie held her tongue for a moment, but when Alexa didn't answer she continued, "He only listens to Jane. He had been hanging on her every word from the first thing she had said. Or hadn't you noticed that yet?" Suddenly Alexa was able to move again and was sitting right in front of Jessie, next to Jane. Jane was still sitting in front of Jessie with her head bowed. "Bow down, Alexa. You know you've lost." She started to work her way to her knees and tried to get up, but fell back to the floor. "Ow, right. I have you in my power..." "No, you don't," Alexa said and tried to get up again. this time she succeeded, but couldn't take a step closer to Jessie. "Oh, I do. This here is my realm. I choose everything that has happened, happened and will happen. And you are stuck between the two realms." "Two?" "Yes two... Ow, right. She didn't tell you." "Who?!" asked Alexa angrily. "Jane. This realm is, well, is mine and the other realm; where you come from, is Jane's realm. It's not that hard now, is it." "Jane, a realm. How do you even get there!" SHE looked at Jessie with a confused expression. "I can't help it either. it's the truth, and it has to be told, doesn't it?" Jessie looked at her with a grin and snapped her fingers.

Suddenly she was back on the roof and saw Jessie standing with Jane. "You've already lost, Alexa. That's all I'm saying," Jessie said. "So you're killing all these people to get your empire back?" Alexa called down. Jessie looked at her with a jerk and said, "I did think you were smart, but not you to say you could find this out. Too bad it has to end here. Until the next Alexa." Alexa looked around her and saw everything again before her. Sky behind a tree along the road. Jane in the tin below her and Robin in the car. Jessie was standing in the middle of the road looking at House... . Alexa grabbed her gun and pointed it at Jessie. "Alexa, don't you dare," she heard Jane say, but didn't listen to her. Jane had been her friend since first high school and would never keep anything from her. Now six years later, she suddenly found out that her best friend was not only the leader of a team she herself was a part of, but also a leader of an entire empire. Alexa didn't feel like lording it over someone who didn't believe her at first and was lying to her. She pointed her gun at Jessie, pulled the trigger and fired. Jessie looked up at her with a grin on her face. Before the bullet could hit her, she winked at her and disappeared. Jane jumped out from behind the bushes and ran into the street. Ron-bin had jumped out of the car and was walking toward her. When Alexa saw Sky coming from behind the trees, she ran down to him. When she reached the three others, Jane turned around with an angry face. "What did I say Alexa! No fighting! How many times do I have to tell you!" She took a step forward, but Robin stopped her. "Let go of me, Robin. Let go of me, I tell you." Robin walked free of her and took a step backwards. "You can't take this seriously, Jane," Alexa said angrily. "Surely you saw for yourself what she was up to! And if you don't believe me by now: Jessie is the killer. I was right all along!" She looked at the boys each in turn. "Your gun, Alexa," Jane said suddenly. "What?" Alexa looked back at Jane with a jerk. "Your gun," she said again and held out her hand to Alexa. "You can't be serious about this," Alexa said indignantly. "Your gun, Alexa." "And why is that?" "I'm telling you to give me your gun." "Why!" "Because I say so, dammit!" cried Jane furiously. Alexa handed her Bucky and continued to look at her. "All right now, Miss?" said Alexa sarcastically. "Where did that tone come from all of a sudden?" asked Jane. "Like you don't know what I'm talking about," said Alexa angrily. "Miss here, our team leader, is the leader of the empire that Jessie wants to destroy." She looked around at the boys. They were both standing facing the ground so she couldn't see their faces. "Don't tell me you guys knew about this?!" "Sorry, Alexa," Sky began, but Jane interrupted him. "You must go home immediately. Anyone who says another word will be flown off the team. Understood!" said Jane. She tried to control her trunk as best she could, but it didn't work out well. The last sentence came across a little more unfriendly than she had intended. "All to the car. Now!" "No," Alexa said. "I think I'll just go back on foot today." She turned and walked away from them. Jane looked after her with an outstretched face. "I'll go with her," Sky said; "Sorry, Jane." He turned and walked over to Alexa. "What did I do?" asked Jane aloud when Sky and Alexa were around the corner. "You did what you had to do Jane. That's what you did." Robin came over and gave her a hug. Only when it started to rain did they walk to the car and drive back home.
