I couldn't breathe as tears ran down my cheeks watching as the mine burned knowing Richy was in there. He had confessed to me about everything about being the man without a face, how he had kidnapped Hannah and now... now he had set it all on fire with the evidence and him inside. I shook as I watched it all unfold on the news watching the flames spreading as firefighters tried getting it under control. I watched in horror as I thought of Jake and how he wasn't answering me. Then it hit me what if he was in there? I grabbed my phone from the floor quickly going to our chat then there was a loud bang. I looked up, my eyes widened seeing the mine was now engulfed in flames. I watched in horror, completely paralyzed knowing no one could have escaped. Then my legs gave out as I crumpled to the floor. I look up to see Hannah being put in an ambulance. I whimper knowing we had saved her but that two lives had been lost tonight. I look down sobbing as I begin screaming.
