Painful Choice's

As A pulled into a run down barn I didn't say a word. Not after the decision that had been made.
I sigh remembering the conversation

''What do you mean I disappear?!''
A looked over his shoulder
" I mean you vanish, you leave this life behind and adopt a new one" I look at him in shock
" Y...you're joking..w..what about my..job..my family ..." I gasp
" Omg, Cleo and Callie!' A pats my hand
" We got your cats from your apartment, well Charon did" I take a shaky breath
" And don't worry we grabbed you some clothes and pictures." I nod
" Thank you" A nods as the light turns green.

I'm brought back as I see the man called Charon approaching.
I sigh walking up to him as A and him spoke
'' So she knows everything?" A looks at me
" Yeah"
I stand beside them
" So my life ends here huh? Charon nods
" Have you decided how it will happen?" I nod sadly
"I'll have to make it look like a sucide..."

Both men look at me
" That's a rough one" A replies and I nod
" For my family it's the most believable" I rub my wrist
" If I were to just disappear, my sister's would look for me.."
I run my hand through my dark blue hair
" If I do it this way they won't search for me"
Both men glace at each other.

"Very well" Charon sighs
" If you'd like to say goodbye to your cats then..." I look at him
" Wh..what are you talking about?" Charon looks at me
" Do you plan on bringing them with you?" My heart starts pounding against my chest as my breathing started getting heavier A quickly squeezed my shoulder
" Let's talk" he leads me away.
" Listen I know you want to keep them with you but think about it, not only will they spend time in that cat backpack but you will also have to worry about other animals getting them if you can't find a motel and if you have to make a quick get away you risk the chance of being caught more" I feel my body shake as tears burned my eyes
" Y..you don't understand Callie...she was my mom's and dads cat and Cleo...she..she's my...
I quickly turned away A squeezes my shoulder
" I know how painful this is" I scoff as he sighs.
" I also had to leave my cat behind when I had to run and it's still the most painful decision I've ever made" I give him a sideways glance
" Her name was Shadow and she was a beautiful black cat" I heard the sadness in his voice.
" But I promise you that your girls will be taken care of" I look away
" Thing is we know someone who takes in animals for people like us and they spoil and love them like they were their own" I look at him
" And I swear I'll keep an eye on your girls for you" he holds up his pinky
" I swear on my life" I look him in the eyes studying him seeing he was telling the truth I pinky promise him
" Cleo isn't the friendliest kitty" A chuckled
" Yeah Charon found that out the hard way'' I nodded feeling tears running down my cheek I quickly wiped them away.
" Can I see them?" A nods
" Yes and while you say your goodbye you can fill me in on the suicide plan.
