I'm standing in the lab with Tony and Banner as they work on uploading Jarvis into the body in the Cradle. I'm not really paying attention, zoning out once again, exactly the same until, I see Steve walk in and turn to Tony with wide eyes.

"This framework in not compatible." Tony sighs.

"The genetic coding tower is at ninety-seven percent." Banner states. "You have got to upload that schematic in the next three minutes."

"I'm gonna say this once." Steve starts.

"How 'bout nonce." Tony ignores.

"Shut it down!"

"Nope, not gonna happen."

"You don't know what you're doing."

"And you do?" Banner asks. "She's not in your head?"

"I know you're angry-" Wanda starts.

"Oh, we're way past that. I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade."

"Banner, after everything that's happened..." Steve steps forward.

"It's nothing compared to what's coming!" Tony interrupts.

"You don't know what's in there." Wanda warns.

I watch as Pietro rolls his eyes before a blue blur goes around the room, unplugging everything until, he's at the last one.

"No, no." He throws a cord. "Go on. You were saying?"

Okay but, that was cute.

What?

He's pretty.

A gunshot sounds through the room and Pietro falls through the glass floor.

"Pietro!" Wanda and I call.

We run to the glass to see Clint standing above him.

"What?" He smirks. "You didn't see that coming?"

Beeping sounds through the room and we all look up.

"I'm rerouting the upload." Tony states.

Cap doesn't like that and throws his shield at the machine, Tony calling his iron hand and shooting Steve down. Banner gets to Wanda and puts her in a choke hold.

"Go ahead." He threatens. "Piss me off."

"Bruce."

"What, Lily?"

"You wanna let her go?" I grit. "You know I can handle Hulk."

He looks at me and sees the glare and anger in my eyes, letting her go and stepping back. I hurry to her and she quickly stands behind me, holding tight to my arm.

Steve and Tony continue fighting, as always and Thor comes charging in, hammer ready, jumping on the Cradle, and striking it with lightening.

Once he's done, we're standing there waiting for something to happen when it explodes open, sending everyone but me flying through the room. A red guy floats out of it and slowly stands, examining his surroundings until, he looks at Thor.

He goes to attack him but, Thor throws him across and out of the room, through glass, almost hitting the window to outside, stopping in the nick of time. Some of us leave the room and Thor motions for us to stay where we are. He sets his hammer down and Banner comes in as Pietro speeds beside Wanda.

"I am sorry." Red lands beside Thor. "That was... Odd. Thank you."

He looks at Thor cape and one appears on him, me failing to hold back the adoring smile.

"Thor." Steve calls. "You helped create this?"

"I've had a vision. A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at it's center is that." He points the yellow gem on Reds forehead.

"What? The gem?" Banner asks.

"It's the Mind Stone. It's one of the six Infinity Stones."

Why do I feel like I recognize that?

Not like I've heard it before.

"The greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in it's destructive capabilities."

"Then, why would you bring..." Steve starts.

"Because, Stark is right." He states and I raise my brows.

"Oh, it's definitely the end times." Banner nods.

"The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron. Maybe Lily."

"Probably." I agree.

"Not alone." Red steps forward.

"Well..."

"Why does your Vision sound like Jarvis?" Steve asks.

"We configured Jarvis' matrix to create something new." Tony states as him and Red meet in the middle.

"I think I've had my fill of new."

"You think I'm a child of Ultron." Red guesses.

"You're not?"

"I'm not Ultron. I am not Jarvis. I am...I am."

"I looked in your head and saw annihilation." Wanda steps towards him.

"Look again."

"Her seal of approval means jack to me." Clint chuckles and I roll my eyes, moving to stand beside Pietro.

Just 'cause I can.

"Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone." Thor informs. "And they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. But, with is on our side-"

"Is it?" Steve interrupts. "Are you? On our side?"

"I don't think it's that simple." Red shakes his head.

"Well, it better get real simple real soon." Clint threatens.

"I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't. He will end it all."

"What's he waiting for?" Tony asks.

"You."

"Where?" Banner asks.

"Sokovia." Clint answers. "He's got Nat there, too."

"If we're wrong about you, if you're the monster that Ultron made you to be-" Banner walks up to him.

"What will you do?" Red asks. "I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique and he's in pain. But, that pain will roll over the Earth so, he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net, we have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are and not what you intended. So, there may be no way to make you trust me. But we need to go."

Red picks up the hammer and hands it to Thor. We all stand in confusion, I smile, and Thor takes it before Red walks off.

"Right." Thor pats Tonys shoulder. "Well done."

"Three minutes." Steve informs the rest of us. "Get what you need."
