"It was here." Max and I said, staring at the empty wall where the grandfather clock used to stand. "Right here."
"A grandfather clock?" Nancy asked.
Max and I nodded.
"And you didn't see each other there?" Nancy asked. "There was absolutely no one there?"
"It was so real. And then, when I... I got closer, suddenly I just... I woke up." Max said.
"Same for me." I said.
"It was like she was in a trance or something." Dustin said.
"Same for Kate." Steve said.
"Exactly what Eddie said happened to Chrissy." Dustin said.
Max turned around. "That's not even the bad part."

"Fred and Chrissy, they both came to Miss Kelley for help." Max said. "They both were having headaches... bad headaches that wouldn't go away. And then... then the nightmares. Trouble sleeping. They'd wake up in a cold sweat. Then they started seeing things. Bad things."
"These visions, they just... they kept getting worse and worse, until eventually..." I said. "everything ended."
"Vecna's curse." Robin said.
"Chrissy's headache started a week ago." Max said. "Fred's, six days ago. I've been having them for five days."
I walked out of the room, staying silent.
"I don't know how long I or Kate have." Max said. "All I know is that, for Fred and Chrissy, they both died less than 24 hours after their first vision. And Kate and I just saw that goddamn clock, so... looks like we're gonna die tomorrow."
I sat against the wall on the floor and started crying. I wasn't ready to die. I didn't want to die. I heard someone open the door to the school so I wiped my tears and stood up.
"Stay here." Steve said to the others in the office.
He walked out of the room holding a lamp. All of us followed. Lucas ran around the corner and all of us screamed.
"It's me!" Lucas yelled.
"Lucas?" Nancy said.
"It's me." Lucas said.
"Jesus, what's wrong with you, Sinclair?" Steve yelled.
"I'm sorry." Lucas said, out of breath.
"I could've taken you out with this lamp!" Steve yelled.
"Sorry, guys. Sorry." Lucas said and Steve dropped the lamp. "I was... I was biking for eight miles."
He held his finger up at us to tell us to wait a minute.
"Give me a second. Shit." Lucas said, panting. "We've got a code red."
"What?" Steve asked.
"Dustin." Lucas said. "I've been with Jason, Patrick, and Andy, and they've gone totally off the rails. They're trying to capture Eddie, and they think you know where he is. You're in terrible danger."
"All right. Yeah, that definitely sucks, but we've got bigger problems than Jason now." Dustin said.

Steve, Lucas, and Dustin were reading a bunch of newspapers and shit about Victor Creel in Nancy's basement.
