I kept watching as Papa tattooed Henry.

"All done." Papa said. "Not so bad, was it? See? There's nothing to be afraid of. Is there Seventeen?"

My eyes widened. Papa looked at me and his eyes looked weird.

"Why don't you take a seat?" Papa asked, his voice sounded weird also.

I ran out of the room and was back at the lab. There was blood everywhere and dead bodies everywhere. The lights were flickering. I looked around for a way to get out. I could hear children screaming in the distance. I ran to the back of the hallway and ran down the hallway that I walked into. I ran to a boarded up door, crying. I started pulling the boards off.

"Katlyn." Vecna said, as he was at the other end of the hallway. "What are you doing? It's not time for you to leave."

I kept pulling the boards off.

"Now that you've seen where I've been..." Vecna said as he walked down the hallway. "...I would like very much to show you where I am going."

I pulled the last board that I needed to pull off and ran through the door. I looked around and saw Papa with the weird eyes and weird voice again.

"Take a seat, Katlyn." Papa said.

Then the lights flickered and turned off. When the lights turned back on, I was tied to a chair. I tried breaking free but the vines just got tighter. Vecna then appeared on the other end of the room. He walked over to me.

"Do you remember me now?" He asked.

I started crying and I kept trying to break free. I could hear the clock ticking in the distance.

"I... want you to tell Eleven. I want you to tell her everything you see." Vecna said as he put his hand over my head and started showing me things that haven't happened yet.

I saw multiple gates opening across Hawkins and screamed. "No!"

"Tell her..." Vecna said.

"No!" I screamed.

"...everything." Vecna finished.

"No!" I screamed again.

I then woke up and Steve was standing in front of me. I fell onto the ground but Steve caught me.

"Hey, whoa, whoa, whoa." Steve said as he held me.

I was crying.

"It's okay. It's okay. It's okay." Steve said. "It's okay. I'm right here. I'm right here."

"He showed me things that haven't happened yet." I explained to everyone. "The most awful things. I saw a dark cloud spreading over Hawkins. Downtown on fire. Dead soldiers. And this... this giant creature with... a gaping mouth. And this creature wasn't alone. There were so many monsters. An army. And they were coming into Hawkins. Into our neighborhoods. Our homes. And then... he showed me my mom. And William. Jonathan. And they... they were all..."

I silently started crying, choosing not to finish that sentence.

"Okay, but... he's just trying to scare you, Kate." Steve said. "Right? I mean... I mean, it's not real."

"Not yet." I said. "But there... there was something else. He showed me gates. Four gates. Spreading across Hawkins. And these gates, they looked like the one outside of Eddie's trailer, but... they didn't stop growing. And this wasn't the Upside Down Hawkins. This was our Hawkins. Our home."
