One by one

"I didn't mean to hit you." Ace finally spoke up.

"I didn't mean to hit you either." Eyeball mumbled.

Ace nodded slowly. "I believe you, you know?"

Eyeball looked up at him. "You do?"

Ace nodded again. "I knew Betsy can be jealous and shit and I know how much she hates you."

Eyeball laughed. "The girl really fucking hates me."

Ace tried not to laugh. "Can you believe she actually thought she could come between us?"

Eyeball stared up at Ace's bruised face. Ace stared right back at Eyeball's bruises.

"Just do us all a favour and ditch the dragon bitch." Eyeball forced a laugh out. "Whether you go take my girlfriend or not just ditch her at least."

Ace laughed. "You two really have to stop with the whole boyfriend girlfriend joke now."

Eyeball shrugged as he leant back against the wall again.

"Well until she gets a new guy then it ain't happening."

"She's still single?" Ace's head snapped to looked up at Eyeball.

Eyeball nodded as he smirked at Ace. "She turned Theodore down, told him she thinks they should just be friends."

"Ouch." Ace mumbled.

"Not for everyone involved." Eyeball mumbled as he used his foot to nudge Ace.

Ace shrugged it off.

"Look as sweet as it is, you climbing into my room to whisper sweet nothings in the middle of the night, I'm fucking tired so can I at least go back to sleep now?"

Ace shook his head as he got up. "I need your help."

"With what?" Eyeball groaned out.

Yet he didn't get his answer. Ace grabbed his arm and yanked him up off the bed.

"Get dressed and then we'll go." He mumbled as he walked towards Eyeball's door.

Eyeball groaned as he looked around. "Hang on, how the fuck did you even get in here anyway?"

Ace shrugged as he walked out of Eyeball's room.

"Oh that's how." Eyeball mumbled as him and Ace walked out the front door, that had clearly been forcibly opened.

"You really couldn't wait till morning?" Eyeball yawned out as he followed Ace to his car.

Ace shook his head as they both got in. "Luna said I had to speak to you so I did."

"I can see that." Eyeball yawned again. "Where we going now then?"

"Where'd you think?" Ace replied.

"What a stupid question." Eyeball mumbled to himself as he leant against the window and shut his eyes, still desperate for sleep.

"Get up. We're here." Ace snapped as he reached out and smacked Eyeball on the arm.

Eyeball snapped awake as he looked around, recognising Luna's house.

Ace eagerly got out the car as Eyeball once again yawned, groaning as he got out the car as Ace was already chucking small stones up at her window.

"I fucking hate you sometimes." Eyeball grumbled.

"I know." Ace mumbled.

Eventually the curtains were opened and the window was opened as Luna appeared, half leaning out.

"It's the middle of the night Ace!" She groaned out quietly.

"That's what I said!" Eyeball snapped back.

"Eyeball?" She asked down curiously as he half stumbled into the moonlight.

"I spoke to Eyeball," Ace started as he kept his attention on her. "Can I talk to you now?"

"Eyeball?" She asked again.

"Besides him waking me up in the middle of the night, yeah we're good." Eyeball half grumbled out as he yawned again.

"See?" Ace gestured to him as he continued to look up at her. "Can I talk to you now?"

"You upset all the cobras Ace." Luna spoke firmly down at him.

Ace groaned slightly as he didn't wait for another of her responses.

He only walked over to Eyeball, grabbing his shirt and beginning to drag him back over to the car.

"What the-" Eyeball started. "Where the fuck are we going now?!" He groaned out.

"To wake those other fuckers up." Ace grumbled as the pair climbed back into his car.

"Or we could wait till morning and just sleep?" Eyeball offered up as he yawned once more, leaning back up against the glass.

"This can't wait." Ace mumbled as he started driving back to Castle Rock.

"What's so important that you have to talk about with her that can't wait till the fucking morning?!" Eyeball groaned out as he kept his eyes shut.

"I broke up with Betsy."

That caught Eyeball's attention. He sat up straight instantly and stared at Ace.

"I'm sorry you did what? Sounded like you said you broke up with Betsy?"

Ace nodded as he continued to focus. "It was a few hours after we bumped into Luna and Jack. She had been going on and on about Luna and saying that the girl was working her through all of us, me, you then Jack."

"She called her a slut and I kinda-" Ace stopped himself.

"What did you do?" Eyeball asked quietly.

"I broke up with her there and then. She ain't a slut and that's that."

Eyeball nodded slowly. "You know you're gonna have to do a lot more than just say you're sorry to everyone?"

Ace nodded as he continued to drive along. "Which is why you're gonna help me."

Eyeball shrugged slightly as he couldn't stop the smirk coming to his face. "I don't know if you're good enough for my girlfriend."

Ace reached out and smacked him as he laughed.

"Okay Billy first, he's closest." Ace mumbled as he turned into Billy's.

One by one, each cobra was woken up.

One by one, each cobra was told by Ace that he was sorry.

One by one, each cobra were put into shock hearing the word 'sorry' coming from Ace's mouth.

Yet one by one, hearing that Ace had broken up with Betsy, agreed to help Ace.

Ace finally stopped his car one last time as Vince's did the same behind him.

The entire group got out as they all looked over towards Luna's house.

Ace stood still as he watched Luna getting into Theodore's car as he gently shut the door for her and walked around to the drivers side.

"I thought you said she turned him down?" Fuzzy whispered to Eyeball.

Eyeball nodded confused. "She told me she had."

"Doesn't really look like it." Vince mumbled as they all looked over at Ace.

Yet instead of kicking off, losing his temper or swearing and shouting, he walked straight into the middle of the road.

Theodore's car stopped as Luna stared at Ace blankly.

"That's a new one." Billy mumbled as he nodded to Ace standing there, refusing to let the car pass.

Theodore turned off the car and got out the car, gently shutting it behind him.

"You wanna move Merrill?" He asked with a laugh.

Ace shook his head. "You ain't going nowhere with her."
