The car ride to the diner was full of Aiden and Ava questioning Ace about everything, even the small little random things such as his favourite colour.

"Do you love our sister?" Aiden finally asked from his spot in the backseat.

Ace and Luna began to cough as Ace quickly pulled up outside the diner.

"Oh look we're here!" He said awkwardly, quickly getting out the car.

Luna jumped straight out as they both let the twins out the back.

"You didn't answer my question." Aiden stared up at Ace.

"Course he does." Ava responded. "Now can we get a milkshake now?" She asked up at Luna.

Luna quickly nodded as she almost tried to shove the two children along and inside.

"Well this is gonna be fun." Ace mumbled beside her as they followed the twins in.

"Just remember why we're doing this. You're getting her back and I'm getting him back." Luna mumbled quietly as they followed the twins over to a booth.

"You can sit next to me!" Ava said happily to Ace as she reached out to take his hand and practically yanked him into the booth with her.

"Why would he want to sit next to you?" Aiden scoffed out as Luna sat next to him, opposite Ace.

"Because I'm nice." She retorted back as Ace gently nudged Luna's knee under the table.

She looked up at him confused as he subtly nodded behind her.

"Teddy." He mouthed.

Luna gave him a small nod in response, understanding. "You good to go?" She mouthed back.

Ace gave her a wink as he turned down to look at Ava.

"What milkshake are you gonna have then sweetheart?" He said happily.

"I want a strawberry one!" Ava said excitedly as her smile quickly disappeared. "But they're really big."

"Why don't you share one with your brother then?" He asked quietly.

"He hogs it all and takes the strawberries off the top." Ava scowled as she glared at her brother, who was happily talking to Luna about some superhero.

"Will you share with me?"

Ace looked back down at the small girl.

"Or are you going to share with my sister?" Her smile fading again.

Ace shook his head. "I'll share with you and you can have the strawberries."

Ace almost jumped as the small girl practically leapt onto his lap, her arms clinging around his neck. He saw Luna laugh as he wrapped an arm around the girl.

Over her shoulder he saw Theodore with a couple of his friends, glaring straight at them. Ace couldn't help but smirk at them, that's right cock-knocker get jealous enough to change for her, he thought as Ava relaxed her grip but fidgeted herself so she was still sitting on Ace's lap.

"Ava why don't you sit on the booth?" Luna sighed out.

Ava shook her head. "I'm okay. Ace is gonna share a milkshake with me AND I get the strawberries." She glared down at her brother.

"Well I'm shaking a chocolate one with Luna AND I'm getting the chocolate on top." Aiden retorted.

Ava's mouth dropped as she turned to Ace expecting him to stand up for her. Thankfully for him the waitress appeared as Ava continued to glare at Ace, waiting for his response.
