The Dark Angel (REBOOTED)

Chapter 4

We return to our heros facing off against the resurrected Nevermore and the demon/Grimm hybrid that has brought it back from the dead.

Everyone was in a heroic pose in front of the Nevermore ready for battle

Dominic:*looks around* Well don't everyone go all at once.

Sapphire: Yeah we can do this RPG style. Just go one at a time.

Dante: Right. Hehe sorry bout that. Got caught up in the moment.

Dante spins his guns in his hands and starts unloading a volley of bullets at the Nevermore in front of them. The massive winged Grimm shrieked and shielded itself with its wings and the bullets were dropping to the floor as if they were hitting concrete

Blake: That's..not possible!

Obito: It's that thing! Not only can it revive Grimm but I think it's giving it power!

Jaune: You mean this big scary Grimm is getting scarier!?

Dominic: Hmph. Scum!

In a swift motion, Dominic appeared in front of the devil Grimm ready to deliver the killing blow but it crossed its arms and roared at him which sent him flying under the Nevermore

Dominic: Ugh!!

Dante: Dom look out!

The elder twin opened his eyes just in time for him to dodge the massive foot of the Nevermore from crushing him. It roared and started to peck at the ground like he was a worm but he kept rolling from side to side

Nora: AXIOS!! RRAAAAAH!!!

The aburn haired girl ran at the Nevermore screaming her warcry as she held onto her hammer tightly. She dug her feet into the ground and swung her weapon at it's head, smashing it into the beasts eye stunning it

Nora: Come on feather face! I wanna see if I can make a family bucket out of ya!

Ren: Nora!

Nora:*turns* What?

The wing of the Nevermore swung at her and would have killed her if not for Dominic getting up and using his body as a shield.

The two then get sent flying back and hit the ground a few times before coming to a stop. Nora only suffering a few scratches while Dominic laid there trying to take a breath in

Dominic:*gasping for air*

Nora: Oh my gosh! Thank you! Please don't die!!

Dominic:*deep inhale* Shut up and flee!!

Nora helped Dominic up and they fled from the approaching hoard of Grimm

Jaune: Now can we run?!

Dante: Yup! Book it! Now!

Everyone sprinted towards the bride at the end of the valley as the demons and Grimm followed them. Obito looked back at the horde pursuing them and was tripped by a rock in the ground and fell flat on his chest

Obito: Ugh!

He gets himself up as one of the Grimm pounces to him to attack but its head was shot off by a sniper round, killing it and making its corpse roll over Obito

Obito:*looks up* Huh!

Ruby pulled back on the receiver of her sniper and a shell casing fell to the ground smoking

Ruby: Come on!!

Obito: R-right!

The boy rushes back with the group as the Nevermore dove down and tried to pick on of them up in its talons but it missed and flew back around for another try. As it turns, Dominic fired a group of summoned swords at it, most of them missed but the few that did stunted it and it started to fly low. It flew under the bridge and Yang, being the daring gal that she is, decided to jump off the bridge and land on the back of the Nevermore
