The Dark Angel (REBOOTED)

Chapter 32

The crowd was cheering for the first doubles match of the Vytal Tournament between Emerald and Mercury who were going against Coco and Yatsuhashi.

Velvet: Good luck you two!

The arena shifts into four separate biomes for the duos to fight in: A ruined city, rocky lake, and a forest filled with trees, and a field of tall dead grass.

Coco: Hey..

Coco tilts her sunglasses down and admires Emeralds clothing choices.

Coco: Nice clothes, kid.

Emerald. I'll try not to get blood on it~

Yatsuhashi stands up from his meditation and reaches for his massive bronze sword on his back.

Yatsuhashi: I can't promise you'll leave without a scratch.

Emerald: I won't be the one bleeding.

Coco: Oh, I like her!

Port: Three, two, one, begin!

Strangely, Emerald and Mercury don't attack and just back up into the tall grass which confuses Coco and Yatsuhashi a little but she just transforms her purse into its mini gun form and starts spraying bullets through the grass until it was all cut down.

Both Coco and Yatsuhashi were greatly confused as to where Emerald and Mercury had gone if they were not hiding in the grass.

Blake: Look out!

Blake shouts out a warning towards the two as Mercury comes flying in with a overhead kick. Yatsuhashi pushes Coco out of the way and blocks the kick using his massive sword and holds back the impact of the kick with just his strength alone.

Mercury jumps off of  Yatsuhashi's sword and runs around them as Coco tries to shoot Mercury.

Sun: Wow, he's good.

Scarlet: Yeah, but where's the girl?

While team SSSN questioned where Emerald was, Mercury was busy holding his own against Coco and Yatsuhashi with his fighting style that consisted of fast and powerful kicks to the body. He toys with the two by jumping back and forth between them and he almost makes Coco shoot Yatsuhashi in the gut from point blank range but she transforms her weapon back into a purse and swings it at Mercury who backflips away from her and kicks forward two shots of wind dust that Coco and Yatsuhashi deflect. In the time between them deflecting the dust, Mercury was break dancing on the ground while also using the wind dust to create a massive tornado around him. He then launches the volley of wind dust blasts at the two, blinding them in a cloud of dust and smoke.

Once the smoke clears, Mercury was in between the two and grabs onto their arms before hitting them with multiple kicks to the body. He knocks Coco away and smirks as a chain sickle wraps around her waist and pulls her into the forest biome.

Yatsuhashi: Coco!

While Coco was pulled into the forest, Mercury hits Yatsuhashi with a kick that does little to hurt him and he grabs Mercury by his throat and tosses him away over to the rocky water biome.

Yatsuhashi flies in, swinging his sword down at Mercury who blocks it with his feet. The impact of the hit causes all of the water to be blows away as well as cause the ground to curve inwards.

Mercury kicks Yatsuhashi off of him and the two battle one another; trading blows until Mercury starts using the environment with his attacks by kicking rocks at Yatsuhashi, dazing the giant. He then falls down onto one of the steam geysers and gets a face full of hot steam before standing up and getting a swift kick to the face.
