Team RWBY walks through Vale as it and its inhabitants get ready for the Vytal Festival

Weiss: The Vytal Festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!

Ruby: I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss. It's kinda weirding me out..

Weiss: How could you 'not' smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances, parades, a tournament! Oh the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!

Yang:*sigh* You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring.

Weiss: Quiet you.

They turn and stop at the boat docks as a foghorn sounds throughout the harbor

Yang: Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon at the stupid docks?

Ruby:*plugs her nose* Ugh, they smell like fish.

Weiss: I heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And as a representative of Beacon I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom.

Blake:*turns to Yang* She wants to spy on them so she'll have an upper hand in the tournament.

Weiss: Ah! You can't prove that!

Ruby: Whoa.

Ruby sees a dust store in the distance covered with police tape and broken glass littering the floor. The team of girls walks up to the line of police tape where an officer was scribbling down notes

Ruby: What happened here?

Detective 1: Robbery. Second dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle.

The officer turns around and walks up to his partner who was surveying the scene

Yang: Oh, that's terrible.

Detective 2: They left all the money again.

Ruby: Huh?

Detective 1: Yeah it just doesn't make a lick o' sense. Who needs that much dust?

Detective 2: I dunno, ya know what I mean?

Detective 1: You thinking the uh, White Fang?

Detective 2: Ya, I'm thinking we don't get paid enough.

Weiss: Hmph. The White Fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates.

Blake: What's your problem?

Weiss: My problem? I don't care for the criminally insane.

Blake: The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths. They're a bunch of misguided faunus.

Dante: Ah! Hey! Get your hands off me!

Officer: Beat it Guitar Hero!

The girls turn and see Dante being shoved out of the investigation area by an officer

Dante: Hey I have rights man!

Officer: Then you have the right to get lost!

The officer pushes Dante away from him and goes back to the crime scene

Dante:*dusting himself* Great..

Yang: Dante?

Dante: Hm?*turns* Yo! Ladies! What's up?

Ruby: We were about to ask you that.

Dante: Ah I was doing a little freelance work with Sapphire. Who was supposed to be watching my back!!
