Chapter 8

It has been a few weeks since the incident with Roman and the White Fang at the pier, and with more and more students coming in for the festival, it was time for some R&R for the students. But some students don't get to relax as much as team ODDS with their "alternative" lifestyle.

A Beowolf lunges at Dante but it was blown to pieces by one bullet from Ebony

Dante: Hehe, nice!

Obito ran up a tree to escape two Beowolves that were chasing him, he then jumps off the tree and backflips into using his semblance and throwing a barrage of flaming kunai at them, obliterating the Beowolves and the surrounding trees

Sapphire comes in and creates a fan made out of ice and swings it in front of him, creating a ice cold wind gust that freezes the trees that were set ablaze by Obito's attack

Sapphire: You know you should really be careful where you point those things.

Obito: Hey throwing a bunch at once works okay? I don't know any other way to use my semblance!

And Ursa Major comes out of the treeline and roars at the three boys but they stand there unfazed by the large creature and it went for Sapphire but slash marks appeared on it and it fell to pieces before it could get within 2 feet of him. Dominic walked up sheathing his sword and he rolls his shoulder

Dominic: Hm. I'd say this was an okay warmup.

Dante: Speak for yourself, these Grimm die in one shot. They're no fun!

Obito: Well not all of us have demon killing skills or weapons.

Sapphire: I can kill them but it's the hybrids I'm having trouble with. I have to start hitting them really really hard to do any effective damage to them.

Dominic: It still bothers me that there are hybrids of demon and Grimm. Makes you wonder what else is going on in the world.

Dante: We don't get paid enough to care.

Obito: We don't get paid at all!

Dante: Well...you and Sapphire don't.

Sapphire: Which I still think is bullshit. We're on the same team yet the two of you get all the money. Sounds like a big scam to me.

Dominic: We're the ones with experience killing demons. Besides, Dante is a stickler when it comes to accepting a job 'or' handling his money properly.

Dante: Hey!

Sapphire: He's got a point Dante. You spend all your money on pizza and ice cream.

Obito: Which you refuse to share!

Dante: It's 'my' money and I'll choose whatever I want to do with it!

Obito: At least Dominic spreads the love with his money!

Dominic: Only because you don't stop begging until I finally cave in and spend my hard earned cash on you fucks.

Sapphire: And it was all worth it~

Obito: Yeah! We got that new Call of Action game that came out and had a few good times in zombies.

Dominic: That's not how I remember it.

Flashback--

Dominic: FIVE IN FIVE MINUTES!?

Dante: HOW!!

Sapphire: YOU LITERALLY WENT NEGATIVE IN ZOMBIES OBITO!!

Obito: I NEVER PLAYED THIS GAME MODE BEFORE! I TOLD YOU GUYS THIS!!

Sapphire: And on that day forward, we vowed to never play with you again Obito.

Obito: You guys are jerks!
