Dante walks through the streets of Vale. The city still under massive amounts of construction after the giant tower, Temen Ni Gru, rose out of the ground. Though thankfully it sunk back into the ground which negates the need to destroy it.

The young son of Sparda turns a corner and walks down an alley where a small neon sign lit up the area and he knocks on a metal door

A small viewing slot opens on the door and a pair of eyes peek through it and look at Dante

???: Password.

Dante: More than Meets the Eye.

The voice behind the door grumbles and opens the door for Dante who walks into a secret bar where multiple occupants were drinking and telling stories while low jazz music was being played in the background

???: Well if it ain't Tony god damn Redgrave!

Dante turns around and sees a dark skinned man whom Dante knew from his past as the aforementioned Tony.

Dante: Scattman Jazz you son of a bitch!

Scattman Jazz was a famous musician but before all that, he was a demon hunter for the guild

Scattman Jazz was a famous musician but before all that, he was a demon hunter for the guild. Even taught Dante a thing or two in his younger years.

Jazz: How ya been kid?

Dante and Jazz give each other a bro hug before Jazz puts an arm around Dante and leads him over to the bar of the club

Dante: Man I feel like nothing could go wrong today!

Jazz: Ah I see. You got yourself a little lady friend huh~? She cute?

Dante: She's beautiful man. But she ain't my girl...yet.

Jazz: Ha! Hey everyone! Big bad Tony here is scared of asking his sweetheart out!

The patrons of the club laughed at Dante who shook his head

Dante: Orion what the hell are you laughing at? Ain't you been with Ariel for six years now?

Everyone started laughing at a young blue haired man who hid his blushing face behind a face mask

Jazz: C'mon, let me buy you a drink.

Dante: Can't say no to that.

Dante and Jazz sit in a booth away from everyone else and a waitress brings them two drinks

Dante: Thanks.

The waitress nods and leaves the two to talk

Jazz: So what's the sitch? You don't call, write. Two years I ain't seen ya.

Dante: I've been busy. I got a shop and then it got destroyed before the lease could be put into effect.

Jazz: Dang that's heavy Tony.

Dante: Yeah. But I'm working my way up back to getting a shop back home.

Jazz: Then I guess you're gonna ask me for a job huh?
