Chapter 13

At Beacon academy, General Ironwood and Glynda Goodwitch were arguing over the situation of last night with two unknown assailants sneaking into Beacon for unknown reasons

Ironwood: They were here....Ozpin they were here!

Glynda: We are very much aware of that! Thank you James.

Ironwood: Fantastic. You're aware. Now are we going to do something about it or should we stay the course and continue to ignore what's right in front of us?

The door to Ozpin's office beeps notifying everyone that someone was waiting for him to allow them to come in

Ozpin:*stands* Come in.

The doors open and Ruby, accompanied by Obito, walk into Ozpin's office

Ruby: Ah! Sorry we're late.

Obito: Yeah, someone pressed all of the buttons on the elevator up here before we got in.

Ruby: It wasn't me!

Ozpin: Thank you two for coming. How are you feeling?

Obito:*rubs his head* Still a little woozy but I'll live.

Ruby: I'm okay, I guess. I guess I'd feel better if my bad guy catching record wasn't 0 for 4.*slight chuckle*

The three adults look at Ruby with very loud silence that makes the girl rub the back of her head in slight unrest

Ruby: Okay so that's the tone that we're going for got it...

Ironwood: Ruby, Obito.

General Ironwood walks over to the two students and place a hand on each of their shoulders

Ironwood: I feel it's appropriate to let you know that I think what you two did last night is exactly what being huntsmen is all about. You recognized a threat, you took action, and you did the very best you could.

Obito: But our best wasn't enough....all that training and I'm still so weak.

Ironwood: Son. Just because you are weak in body does not mean you are weak in mind or sprit.

Obito:*smile* Thank you sir.

Ozpin: Now, the General here has already informed us of the events that.....transpired last night. But now that you've rested, we wanted to know if you had anything to add.

Glynda: Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you?

Ruby: She...only had that one guy with her. That....evil Dom.

Glynda: Evil?

Obito: He was some sort of clone or a doppelganger. He said that he was crafted to be just like Dominic in every way.

Glynda: But why would someone do that? Why him?

Obito: I....don't know.

Obito lied to them, he knew a reason why Dominic was chosen as a template for a clone. For the times he and Dominic talked to one another he revealed some parts of his past to him; that his mother wasn't taken by cancer but by demons and even Yamato and Rebellion have demonic powers.

Ruby: The woman fought with..glass. And her dress lit up whenever she attacked. And the evil Dom fought just like him. Just more aggressive.

Glynda: Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby.

Ironwood: Embedding dust into clothing is an age old technique. It could have been anyone. As for this "clone", that grants merit for investigation. What do you have on Dominic?
