[ Meanwhile, East the base ]

In the eastern side of this one mysterious military-zone. A fire-exchanging is occurring at the moment between two hostile sides. The troopers of GDI's beta-platoon and the discovered survivors of nod, who're all garrisoned inside a hand-like building holding a Globe-ball with its hand's claws-like nails . . . . . A terrifying building called " The hand of nod ".

For now, GDI's militants were the ones who are receiving the heavy-damage since they're fighting their foes in the opening, where protection is less. The ambush which they have fallen into has forced the platoon to split into groups to hide around the building. 

GDI rifleman  : " * Taking a cover * DAMN IT ! WHERE THE HELL IS ALPHA-PLATOON ! ! ! ! ! "

GDI heavy-missiles launcher : " * Does the same * JUST FOCUS ON THE BATTLE TILL IT ARRIVES "

Suddenly and while these two were fully mind-occupied with what is coming at them from the hand-like building, something has been thrown at them from a nearby yet an unknown location . . . . . Something that caused both to get confused.
