[ Meanwhile in the empire of Nod ] 

Somewhere in the center of the empire lies Y/n's personal lair, where he runs all the operations from within. a glorious lair, which was built on the shape of the most religious building that Nod has ever owned.

This is how Nod's first temple, which was built in Cairo in Egypt, used to appear before it was destroyed by GDI's ION cannon during the previous conflict. Y/n ordered his headquarter to be built in the shape of the fallen temple for motivational purposes. An indirect way to tell his believers and enemies that the stolen glory of Nod shall be retrieved.
