This is based off of a dream I had last night. I apologize if any of the details are off, for this being London instead of the little town where I live in which the dream took place.

Y/n sat, chatting away. She and her friends were having a little get together by the river, just the four of them.

"Oh, I brought water," (friends name) said, gesturing to a cooler, "Anybody want some?" It was met with a few thank you's as everyone grabbed for a bottle except for Y/n. "Y/n?"

"Nah, I'm not thirsty." She said, which was the truth. In all honesty, she didn't really want to be there, with her best friends. The Doctor was waiting for her in town, Tardis parked by a little shop. Y/n knew how easily he got bored, and hoped to cut their meeting short. She loved her friends, but- - she loved the Doctor, too.

The four's conversation continued on as normal a little while until (friends name), the one who brought the drinks, made an odd face. Suddenly, they were clutching their stomach, face pale and beaded with sweat.

"You alright, (friends name)?" (Other friend) asked, putting a hand on their shoulder. In response, they let our a guttural growl, mouth hanging open.

"Everyone..." Y/n murmured, "Back up. Now." Her other two friend did as they were told, looking scared. (Friends name)s head tilted at a nauseating angle as they turned to look at them, a blank expression on their face. "No sudden movements." Y/n instructed, trying to remain calm, "Slowly back away back to town." The river side was a little ways away from the busy streets, connected by a gravel road.

"Y/n?" (Yet another friend) whimpered, clutching their stomach. (Friends name) was trudging closer, greyish eyes fixed on them. Their skin looked leathery and old, like (friends name) was twice the age of a senior citizen. (Yet another friend) dropped to their knees, still clutching their stomach, sweat beading on their forehead. Y/n and (other friend) backed up from both of them, slowly making their way backwards up the hill.

"Y/n, what's happening?" (Other friend) whisper demanded, looking like they were about to piss themselves. Y/n had an arm in front of them, trying her best to shield them from the two in front of them. What were previously (friends name) and (yet another friend) but now looked very much like zombies took slow steps toward them, watching their every move. "Y/n- - my stomach!" Y/n looked at (other friend) in horror as they wrapped their arms around their middle. Their eyes, which had previously shown with life and excitement, had started to grey, just like their skin.

"I'm sorry." Y/n whispered, "I'm sorry, I'll figure this out, I promise. I'll save you." The last spark of hope in (other friend)s expression died as their body gave way to whatever virus the other two had succumb to. Y/n bent, very slowly, to pick up a sizable rock from the gravel road and chucked it into the river, making a loud splash  The other threes heads whipped around toward the sound and Y/n took her opportunity and ran. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her, up the hill and back to town. She could hear them behind her, catching up. They were impossibly fast, most likely faster than her.

Y/n made it to the edge of town and skirted around the edge of the first building, sprinting down the sidewalk. The streets where oddly deserted, for London, but she didn't have time to stop and think about it. "Doctor!" She screamed, spotting his blue box up ahead. He had to be around their somewhere. He was sitting at a table, in front of a bakery, reading a book on quantum physics.

"Ah, Y/n, good." He said, glancing up, "Can we go now?" The Doctor took a second to realize that she was running, and looked around for the source.      Y/n's friends, who's skin and eyes where all now fully grey, sprinted up the sidewalk towards them.
