Before she could say anymore I quickly brought in the tea.

"I'm here," I mumble as I hand the tea to each person. We kept talking more while we drank tea and it was time for me and Kaoru to leave.

"Mama, I promise to visit, tell Langa I said hi," I told her as I carried my suitcase. Then, I suddenly felt...Kaoru holding on to my hand!

I looked up at Kaoru as he and my mama said their goodbyes to each other. I dragged my suitcase to the car and Kaoru helped me put it in the trunk. Then, he opened the car door for me to sit and went to the other side to sit in his seat.

"Carla?" Kaoru says at last with a soft smile.

"Hm?" I looked up at him and tilted my head. When our eyes met, he gazed at me while his eyes shined.

"N-Nevermind, let's head home. We are required to head somewhere after breakfast," Kaoru says, looking at his steering wheel.

"Alright," I shrugged. Kaoru started to drive and we sat in silence. I still couldn't believe what Kaoru said about me to my mom. Did he love me that much? Is love at first sight an actual thing or just a fluke?

"Kaoru, do you believe in love at first sight?" I ask him. He immediately stopped the car.

"Why do you ask?" Kaoru asks awkwardly.

"It's just that how does someone fall in love with them instantly when you meet them. I'm not saying if I do feel like I had it or I think it is weird and all...it's just something I was curious of," I state.

"Well, what do I say...it's the tale of the heart," Kaoru says with a soft chuckle and starts the car.

"Tale of the heart, huh?" I mumble to myself. "That seems right."

"Verbalize, tell me more about yourself," Kaoru says.

"Well, I really care more about my brother than anyone else in the world. My personality changes depending on who I am with," I said, shrugging. "My mood honestly depends on what I do."

"So you seem blank, but you still have emotions inside?" Kaoru asks.

"Pretty much, it's just that...I haven't been showing them. I don't know if I am refusing to let my face show it or I just can't show it, you know?" I say, trying to explain.

"Not genuinely, but I promise to avail you out," Kaoru says, softly. Then, he looked up at me blushing. "I mean, that is what fri-friends are for, right?"

"Arigato," I said at last as I looked down. "I promise to be useful to you."

Soon, we arrived home and I took my toothbrush to the bathroom. I started to brush when Kaoru came in and started to brush with me.

"I'll take a shower first while you unpack. Please wear a kimono or a yukata as that will be our indispensable attire. You may have a bath after me," Kaoru muffles with paste in his mouth. I pause my brushing when I realized that I didn't know how to put a kimono on, but I just nodded at Kaoru.

When we were done brushing, Kaoru took his towel to the bathroom as I looked for a kimono to wear.

I stared at it until Kaoru came out of the shower with his towel wrapped around his waist. I looked up at him as I saw his drippy hair and chest. I kept staring at it until Kaoru started to talk.

"You're turn," Kaoru says and I quickly went into the bathroom with my towel. I onned the shower as I started to take my clothes off. Then, I got in the shower and stared at the wall. I couldn't get the picture of Kaoru in a towel out of my head. I started to kick and punch the wall in frustration. I looked weird cause I had a blank face while doing that.

Soon, I stopped and started to rub soap and washed. I got out of the shower and wrapped my towel around my body. I came out of the bathroom and saw Kaoru wasn't in the room. I started to change but had a very hard time.

"Oh my lord," I say to myself. For the next 30 minutes, I struggled to put the kimono on until I asked Kaoru for help.

"Hey, Kaoru? How do you put a kimono on?" I ask awkwardly.

"Oh, just put your hand through the whole like a mundane shirt. Then wrap yourself, I will avail you with the rope part if you don't mind?" Kaoru asks. I did as he told me to and I opened the door for him. Kaoru took the rope and wrapped out around me. Then, he puts this round thing on me, I think I forgot the name of it.

"There we go, you can take your hands off now," Kaoru says with a smile. I put my hands on the side as I examined myself.

"Do I look okay?" I ask him. Kaoru stared at me as I was in the traditional dress. "Hello?"

"You look comely," Kaoru says softly while blushing. "II'm not verbally expressing you aren't resplendent customarily. You are resplendent, the kimono genuinely suits you. Not verbalizing that other things don't suit you. Uh- I mean! Um...please make us breakfast."

Kaoru struggled to make his point, trying not to sound weird, but it made me feel really special and weird on the inside. I felt myself heating up again, so I just rushed into the kitchen. Luckily, I knew how to cook since that is what I did when my dad died. The only thing was...I don't know how to use chopsticks.

I quickly made us breakfast and placed it on the table. Then, I started to serve the food in a bowl for Kaoru as he took the bowl from my hand with a smile.
