"Cause I said so!" A voice says from behind. Everyone, including me, turned around to see who it was...the face was so familiar, and I knew instantly who it was.
"Aino?" I say, looking up. As I had a calm face on right now, I was panicking inside.
"If it isn't my girlfriend?" He says, pulling my chin up.
"Ex-girlfriend, for your information," I said, pushing his hand away.
"Now, it's all in the past, darling...you can't be taking everything seriously," He says, laughing. "Remember, you are my eve."
"Not in a million years. I will never become a psycho like you," I say, looking away.
"Carla, is there something you want to say?" Langa asks.
"Not now!" I say.
"He must be the lovely brother you talked about. He has talent...just like you," Ainosuke whispers in my ear. I pushed him away and changed the topic.
"Miya deserves better," I say.
"I mean if he is staying with you...I'm with it cause I know I can trust you my eve," Ainosuke says. I ignored him and faced Miya.
"What do you say?" I ask him, and he shrugs.
"I don't know. I have a lot of family problems. I don't have time for these types of things," Miya says, looking away.
"Well, friends can help you with your problems," Langa says, shrugging.
"Let's go home. I do not want to deal with him right now," I mutter, and we all began to go. Everyone went their separate ways, and I think Kaoru got the hint that I didn't want to talk about my ex.
As we were going, Kaoru put his hand on my thigh as I looked at him.
"Calmed down yet? Though your body language verbally expresses you are...I sense that you may not...Just want to elucidate," he says.
"I cannot say my frustration is gone, but I'm sure my feelings have calmed down," I said, putting my hands on his hand that is on my thigh.
"Alright," Kaoru says, looking back at the road.
"Kaoru?" I ask.
"Hm?"
"Is it alright if when we get home I go in your arms while explaining everything to you? I would like my head cool down," I ask, looking away. Not all straightforward people don't care about what they say. Some people like me will say it as we feel embarrassed.
"I would like that," Kaoru chuckles.
"Great then," I say, looking out the window. Then, I suddenly spot a familiar face crying with two grown-ups there.
"Kaoru, stop the car," I ordered. Kaoru did exactly what I told him to and I got out of the car.
"After feeding you and taking care of you! You sneak out at night to go skating with some jerks!" I heard a man say. I stayed far away just to hear the conversation.
"You haven't done anything for me, but use me to skate so I can be a champion and you take all the credit," the familiar voice says.
"Why can't you be like you're twin brother? That's it, you're quitting skating and I am disowning you. It's not like I and your father ever gave two shits about you," A female voice says.
"You can't do that!" The familiar voice says.
"Huh...that sounds like Miya's voice," Kaoru whispered, coming towards me.
"I see what he meant by family problems," I whisper back.
"Yes, we can and I don't think anyone would even want to adopt you. You have no friends, the only thing you can do is skate. How the fuck will you ever get far in life. Oh right, you won't!" The man scoffs. I lost it at that point when they started to insult Miya like he was shit.
"I'll adopt him," I said, coming towards him.
"What in the world are you doing," Kaoru hisses at me. I took his hand with me.
"I and Kaoru will raise him and show you how far he can go in life," I said, ignoring Kaoru.
"Robot girl?" Miya says, looking up at me with tears in his eyes. I spotted a bruise on his left cheek and looked back at his parents.
"You do not deserve a talented son," I said as I kept talking.
"Keep him! It's not like two 20-year-olds can deal with his crap," The mom says.
"Oh, shut the hell up, ma'am. You're losing your opportunity to keep a son like him. Of course, we will take him," Kaoru says from behind.
"Wait your fine with it," I ask Kaoru as he smiles at me and put his arms around me.
"Wait, you guys aren't even married yet," Miya states.
"That doesn't matter cause Carla should already ken that I will be the one who she will be with for the rest of her life," Kaoru says, smirking at me. I covered my face with my hair again and muttered.
"Miya, go get your bags," I say.
"You guys are actually serious," Miya asks with a minor chuckle.
"Does it look like I'm joking? Go get your bags, kid," I say again. He ran inside while I death-stared the two parents.
"Also, one more thing," I say. "If I see any of you guys interfering with Miya's life. And it's not an offer...it is an order."
"You think we are scared of you?" the female comes as she came to charge at me. As she came to hit me, I just gave her one kick on the stomach as she fell down.
"Well, you are definitely weaker than me, ma'am," I say and soon Miya came out. Kaoru froze as he saw my actions.
"You're plenary of surprises, Carla," Kaoru says, snapping out of it.
"Well, these are my true colors," I say, shrugging.
"It's just aberrant how you're words are just so bland and when you threaten...its inelegant," Kaoru says. "And that was not an insult. You're perfect the way you are."
"You're such a simp, Cherry," Miya says.
"Oh shut up, be profuse of gratitude we are adopting you," Kaoru says as he blushes.
