El walked around, feeling like a zombie. She was just a living corpse, who had to find Henry.

"Henry!" She screamed, hoping the guy would hear her. "Henry!" No response.

She walked towards a house. A very pretty house. Or at least it was in the past. It seemed old. But then again, everything here seemed old and rusted.

As she got inside to rest, she heard something. Breathing. She looked around, alarmed. She had no idea why that breathing bothered her. Its probably a Demogorgon.

        Only it wasn't.

She heard a groan, followed by a voice. "Who approaches me?" The creature said in a gruff tone.

She didn't know if to be scared or relieved of what she saw. A monster, indeed. But it was... humanlike.

"Oh, its you. Lovely to see you again, El." She looked at him, in both confusion and fear, as he lifted her chin upwards to face him.

"I'm not El. At least i don't think so. Are you...Henry?" He seemed nice.

"Indeed I am. But you are also, indeed, El. Short for Eleven. Sweetheart, have you lost your memory?" He chuckled as she nodded.

"Hm, well then. I'm Henry, or just 001" He was going to take advantage of the situation. He was going to bend her to his will. "I'm your brother."

El looked at the creature. There was no way she was related to that. "No."

001 looked at her before laughing. "I wasn't always this ugly. You made me into this. But you said you would help me, in order to apologize."

"Help you with... what?" El asked, cautiously. She had no idea who she was. But El sounded right.

She thought that when she found this guy...thing, everything would be over. That she would be free. But everything was now worse. Nothing made sense anymore.

Just kill me already. Life is meaningless.

"Help me take over Hawkins, and then the world, of course." Suddenly, she felt the adrenaline in her blood pump to her heart. She regained life. She remembered.

"I never gave up on you. I called every night." For 353 days.

"I'm the monster."  "No, El, you're not the monster. You saved me. Do you understand? You saved me."

"Still pretty?"  "Yeah. Pretty. Really pretty."

"How do I know what I like?"  "You just try things in until you find something that feels like you." "Like me?" "Yes. Not Hopper, not Mike. You."

Hopper. Mike. Max. She remembered it all.

Not exactly everything. Only that they were important to her. They had been kind.

But nowhere in her memories was Henry. Or 001. Whatever his name was.

"I won't help you. You're lying." She backed up away from him, scared. Now that she had found him, why wasn't she back home? Or dead?

She suddenly felt herself start to float, an invisible force grabbing hold on her.

Henry had her in his grip. He's just like me. Powerful.

Even though she had forgotten who she was, she remembered one thing. She had powers.

She felt herself choking, slowly losing air as he used his powers to grip onto her. So this is how it ends, huh?

All of a sudden, she felt a sharp pain in her neck. She felt something go inside her veins. He had injected her.

     She now definitely had trypanophobia.

She used her own powers to take his tentacle away from her neck. Disgusting.

"Help!" She got off his grip, and started to run away, avoiding the tentacles on the ground.

But for some reason, he wasn't following her. Strange.

The air seemed to get heavy on her lungs for the tenth time. For how long had she been here? Perhaps a few days. Time in the Upside Down worked differently. Maybe in the real world she had only been here for a few hours. Maybe a few years.

Her knees felt weak, weaker than before. Only then she realized: Henry had injected her with something that was causing all of this. That's why he didn't follow her.

She tried to get up, fight the urge of just dying right there. Finally, she remembered Mike, Max, and Hopper. They needed her like she needed them.

But it would be so much easier to die here, right now. She sighed, falling on her knees, then laying down. She felt something slimy wrap itself around her. But she didn't care. Not anymore.

They don't need you. They can replace you. Just stay here and sleep. The voices got louder. She decided to listen as the tentacles wrapped around her tired body. It was easier to sleep here in her misery than fight a battle that she would most likely lose.

Hopper and Joyce both looked at each other. These bitches.

"Let us in the fucking lab! I'm an officer, and I order you to let us in!" Hopper yelled, annoyed at the dumb scientists who ran the stupid lab.

They had been standing there for exactly 47 minutes. No response.

"Hopper, lets go look somewhere else. We cant waste any time here" Joyce held his hand reassuringly.

They had begun to date not too long ago. One of the best decisions Hopper has ever made. That and adopting El.

Joyce knew how it felt to lose a child. Especially when the kid was being held in an inhumane place, suffering. She was determined to help Hopper.

They both walked towards the car, and Joyce heard Hopper make a noise. It sounded like a sob.

When Hopper cried, everyone knew it was serious.

"I promise you, Hop. We're going to find Jane." Joyce got on the car, and soon they were at Hopper's house.

She grabbed Hopper's phone, going to make a call. She saw the voicemail. Shit.

"Hopper! We need to go to my house! Now!" Joyce put the phone back and grabbed two guns from Hopper's collection.

Hopper looked at Joyce, worried and most of all, confused. "Why? What happened?"

Joyce threw Hopper one of the other guns she was holding. "Its the kids. They think they can find El. And they're going to need our help."

I decided to dedicate most of chapter 11 to Eleven herself. But yes, we need more Jopper.😍
