Nancy smiled as she saw Mike and El, happily reunited.

The sky looked suprisingly beautiful to be the Upside Down. It had a reddish haze to it, like a horror movie. Nancy thought it was lovely.

She sat, staring at Jonathan, who was searching for a weapon. It had shocked Nancy to see how long they had lasted without an attack.

Just then, she saw Will walk around, with a weary face. He looked as if he had seen a ghost.

And he held his hands tightly. He seemed...hurt?

Nancy brushed it off. Will said he didnt want people to worry about him, that it made him feel weak. So she ignored it.

         If only she knew.

She walked into the house, trying to find ammunition in the Byers' home.

As she got inside the house, she took a good look around. It looked just like it had when she had first fought the demogorgon. The christmas lights were up, and the letters were painted on the wall.

The memories inside there were horrible. It was when she thought she would die, just like Barb.

Barb. She had died in this horrendous place. Which meant, her body lied here somewhere.

It was all her fault. If she had just stayed with Barb, maybe she would have been able to....

Been able to what? The demogorgon was attracted to blood. Barb got hurt and was bleeding. There was nothing Nancy could have done to prevent it.

But there was. Sure, she couldnt stop the bleeding. But if only she had went home with Barb, or never even went to Steve's stupid hangout....

No, dont blame yourself. Its not your fault.

But was it? Nancy felt her lungs shut down. But not because of the air, but because of the guilt. It was her fault.

Nancy tried hard not to cry. Her emotions were powerful, so deep with regret. She regretted being such an asshole towards Barb.

She took a wrong step, as she slipped and twisted her ankle. She gasped in pain, as she tried to get up.

She gave up, and just sat there crying. Not because of her ankle, but because of Barb.

Because in fact, it was her fault. There was no proof otherwise.

But before she could keep on crying in her self-pity, she heard a scream. A mostrous scream.

She knew that sound. Because the thing that made that sound had taken her best friend.

Everything made sense. On why Will looked worried back then.

            It was a demogorgon.

Will heard the screech. It startled him at first.

He was sitting down in the ground, besides Jonathan. He admired his brother, loved him. He couldnt live without him.

Jonathan dropped the knife he was holding. Mike looked around, searching for the beast.

Just then, the demogorgon pounced towards them, like a wild animal.

Jonathan, of course, stepped in the middle of the way, now holding Nancy's gun.

Its all my fault. Im such a selfish person.

Mike grabbed El's arms, trying to carry her weak body. Will ran over to help.

Let her die. Let her die.

No. He had messed up enough.

Will tried to carry El, but she slapped his hand away.

"You." El said, with such a terrifying voice that Will felt guilty. "Its all your fault. You caused this."

I know. Because he did. But no one else could know.

Will tried many times before giving up, letting Max do it instead.

Why did she hate him? Did she.... sense his thoughts?

Will grabbed the blade in his pocket, the blade which he had used to give himself what he deserved.

He sprinted towards the demogorgon as Mike and Max took El away, through the portal. Melissa looked at him with a weary look, searching for Nancy. She was nowhere to be seen.

Jonathan stabbed the creature in its arm, but it seemed unaffected. How convenient.

"Will, I need you to find Nancy." Jonathan spoke with such commandment, something which he barely did.

Will ran towards his house, screaming Nancy's name. No reply.

Just then, he saw Nancy limping towards him. She seemed really hurt. Again, how convineint.

He ran towards her, helping her walk steadily. It seemed like everyone's life was on the line.

As he walked out with Nancy, Melissa ran towards him. Blood stained her face, as she too bad been helping Jonathan.

"Oh god..." she said as she helped Nancy.

"Im...fine, just help Jonathan, he needs it." Nancy pleaded.  Will wanted to, but he knew Jonathan could take it.

Nancy limped with them as they walked towards the portal. She seemed dizzy, which was not a good sign. An agonazing scream filled the air. Jonathan was on the ground, his face bleeding as he felt the cut in his face.

Will ran towards Jonathan, before Nancy stopped him. No. No.

The demogorgon was stuck on a vine, but it would surely free himself. Jonathan needed help. He needed him.

Will turned around, nervously glancing at the portal. To his and everyone's convinience, the portal was closing at a rapid speed.

Will had to make a desicion. Now.

He heard Jonathan's faint voice, the trembling of fear, yet the determination. "Go, I've got this! Save yourselves!"

Will stopped breathing for a second. How did they get from finding El to this?

Him. It was his fault. He felt the hot tears stain his cheeks. He felt like a helpless child again who just wanted to go home to him mother and brother. He wanted to wake up from this nightmare of being a burden.

No. I dont want to leave. But nothing came out of mouth. Nothing. He was speechless.

He had to do it. He had to leave Jonathan. To save Melissa, to save Nancy. Two lives were worth more than one.

Will cried. "No!" But it was too late. The ground rumbled. The demogorgon rose again, and he felt a force shoot him into the closing portal.

This is all your fault. The voices came back. But Jonathan didn't.

Will Byers had yet again caused someone to endanger their life. But this time, it didnt work for them.

Because this time, Jonathan paid for Will's mistakes.
