november 4th 1984.

The gang meet up back at the Byers household, Billy is long gone, no longer there but the place is still pretty smashed up, Nancy and Jonathan are with his mother and brother in a bedroom, the kids are gathered around the kitchen table.

Jim's standing at the entrance to the kitchen atching El carefully in case she gets too tired, the girl is with Mike listening to his stories of the past year since she has been gone and what the friends have done.

When the adrenaline finally wears off, Dallas feels a little dizzy, she blinks slowly, shallow breaths leaving her lungs.

The room is spinning a little and her vision is getting blurry but she just makes out the familiar figure of Steve, "What?" She leans closer, squinting to try and see him better.

"You okay?" He tilts his head at her, brows furrowing as she leans away again.

She closes her eyes and then opens them again focusing on him and nods, "Yeah, just a little tired."

"You've gone really pale."

"I'm fine." She nods to herself, pressing her ear when a sharp ringing builds up slowly.

"Hopper, you don't look too good, let me get you some water."

"I'm fine, promise." She says with a nod, "Just tired, I think I'll go home soon, get some rest."

Steve steps back hesitantly but sighs and nods, turning to Nancy as she calls him and nods him over into the hallway.

He turns back to Dallas, a hand on her shoulder -and for once she's thankful of his touch because it allows her to focus on him better- "Shout if you need me, I'll be right back."

She nods and as she feels a little nauseous, she stumbles over to Jim, one hand against the wall for support, "Uncle Jim?"

"Hmm?"

"Can you uh- take me home?"

"Not right now, Dallas."

"Please, 'm not feeling too good."

"Give me a few minutes, okay?"

She nods, hand curling around the door frame, Max's brows furrow as she looks up at her tilting her head to try and see her better as Dustin and Lucas talk about the demodogs again ignoring the younger redheads expression.

"Jim?"

"Dallas, not right now." He sighs out, eyes still focused on El and the remainder of blood on her nose.

Dallas swallows, her mouth has gone dry, the ringing has built up now, she can't hear a thing, then it stops, everything thing has gone quiet, as if she's under water, she can see a blurry red figure stand seemingly in slow motion and start running towards her.

"Dallas?" Max questions as she stands from the table.

Only Dusitn and Lucas seem to have heard her, Dusitn gets up walking towards his sister, "Hey, you okay? Dallas?"

Hearing the soft calls from Dustin and Max down the hall Steve abandons his conversation and walks back into the living room moving up behind her.

"Is that blood?"

"Dallas?"

Jim turns to his niece, stepping in front of her, she slips, hand dragging down the well as her knees buckle, her entire body going limp, "Woah, Hopper, hey, hey."

Steve catches her gently lying her back as he slaps her cheek a little, bit, "Hopper, wake up, hey."

Feeling something wet on her stomach he takes his hand away, it's stained red. Blood covering his fingers, the stench filling his nose.

How didn't he notice, how didn't he notice?

He lifts her shirt to see the scratch wound from Dart in the tunnels, it's deep, her pale stomach is covered in crimson. Steve pulls her closer, hand pushing the hair from her face, staining her cheeks in her own blood, watching as Hopper kneels beside them as he scrambles to unhook his radio, demanding Flo to ring an ambulance to get over here.

"Hopper? Hopper, come on, don't do this, Hopper, get up!"

"Dallas?"

"Dallas please, Dallas, wake up."

Steve is still calling her name, Dusitn is crying for his sister as he shakes her, but nothing.

"She's going to be okay right? Right?"

"Dallas?"

"Dallas, come on."

"Hopper?"

Nothing.
