the flayed

"I mean you have to admit, as a feat of engineering alone, this is impressive."
"What are you talking about? It's a total fire hazard. There's no stairs, there's no exit, there's just an elevator that drops you halfway to hell."
Dallas flutters her lashes as she looks up at him with an innocent smile making him lean away at the look on her face, "I'm happy to help you down the rest of the way."
Erica rolls her eyes, "They're commies. You don't pay people, they cut corners."
Robin shrugs a little, "To be fair to our Russian comrades, I don't think this tunnel was designed for walking. Think about it, they developed the perfect system for transporting that cargo."
"It all comes into the mall, like any old delivery."
Dallas moves her gaze forward, watching the needless stretch of road ahead of her, she tries to blink away the forming headache and panic rising in her chest as she listens back to Robin talking, "And then they load up onto those trucks and nobodys the wiser."
"You think they built this whole mall just so they could transport that green poison?"
Dallas slows down a little but, hand leaning onto the wall for support as she tilts her head up, "I very seriously doubt it's something as boring as green poison. It's gotta be much more valuable, like promethium or something."
Shaking her head, Dallas pushes off the wall and speeds up a little bit to walk behind them, she can't have a panic attack right now.
Not in this long winding corridor with Russians around any corner, she hasn't had one in weeks, this cannot be the one time she has one in front of people.
"What the hell is Promethium?"
"It's what Victor Stone's dad used to make Cyborg's bionic cybernetic components."
Erica places her hands on her stomach as she groans, "You're all so nerdy it makes me physically ill."
Steve shakes his head, "No, no, no. No, don't lump me in with them. I'm not a nerd, alright?"
Robin grins a little, "Why so negative, Harrington? Afraid of losing cool points to a ten-year-old child?"
"No," He drags the word out slowly and shakes his head, "I'm just saying I don't know jack shit about Prometheus."
"Promethium." Dustin corrects, "Prometheus is a Greek mythological figure, but whatever, all I'm saying is it's probably being used to make something."
"Or power something?"
"Like a nuclear weapon?"
"Totally."
"Walking towards a nuclear weapon, that's great."
