e pluribus unum
july 4th 1985.
Dallas huffs as she kicks her feet back and forth, she's been counting down the minutes -losing track by the time she gets to thirty something- for the past, what she believes to be, hour and a half.
Steve sighs behind her and Robin yawns, her head resting on Dallas' shoulder as they finish up their conversation about some random movie Steve had never heard off, he'd butt in every now and then giving his movie opinion, most of them involving 'the ship guy'.
"Honestly, I don't really feel anything. Do you guys?" Steve says after a while.
Robin leans her head back against his, giving a little shrug of her shoulders, "I mean, I... I feel fine. I feel normal."
"I'm just tired." Dallas adds on
Steve nods, "Yeah, I feel- I feel fine." He shakes his body a little, "I feel kinda good."
They all start chuckling and Robin tips her head back onto Dallas' shoulder once more, "Wanna know a secret? I like it too."
"It feels like-" Dallas sighs as she giggles, "Like really good."
"I feel good."
"Morons, they messed up the drug."
"They messed it up."
They all giggle again leaning their heads on each other for support, Dallas snorts as she laughs making them all burst into an even bigger round of giggles, "Morons! Hey, morons!"
"Morons!"
"Morons! Morons, hey-"
"Woah."
Steve pauses a little as she stares forward before relaxing again, "Oh no. There's definitely something wrong with us."
"Something's wrong."
"Maybe we should... test it."
"Ask me a question." Steve asks.
Robin leans her head back and tries to think, "Okay, uh... who's your favourite out of those kids you hang with?"
"Dustin." Steve doesn't even hesitate before he starts laughing, "I didn't even mean to say that, shh."
"My turn."
"Okay, uh..."
"No, I want a question from Robin."
Steve rolls his eyes and Robin thinks, "Okay, why do you have two jobs if you hate them both?"
"Because I'm poor." She and Robin start giggling again, leaning their heads on each other.
"I still feel fine." Robin says.
Steve clears his throat as he turns his head to Robin, "Did you-uh... Mrs Click's class, did you like me?"
