*Athena's Summary*

Athena, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli are off to find Daisy, Merry, and Pippin who have been kidnapped by the Orcs and Goblin-Men. Along the way, Gandalf returns, reassuring the four hunters that the hobbits are safe. They make their way to Rohan where they come upon King Theoden, who's been under the curse of Lord Sauron. There, Athena and Theoden make peace with each other after Aragorn and Gandalf had told him all the things that she had done in the past. When the enemy rages through Rohan, the people flee to the stronghold of Helm's Deep. Unfortunately, the travelers were attacked by the Wargs, sending Aragorn plummeting to his supposed death. Athena is devastated by the sudden loss of a friend, but she knew that they had to keep going. When Aragorn returns a few days later, he announces that the enemy is drawing near. By nightfall, war had raged onto Helm's Deep, forcing Athena, Theoden, Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, and Gimli to fight for their freedom.

*Sera's Summary*

Meanwhile, Seraphina, Frodo, and Sam continue their dangerous quest to Mount Doom to destroy the Ring. On the way, they're met by Gollum (in Frodo's case, Smeagol), who seems to have two sides of himself, one good and one bad. Sera knows to not trust this creature, as she has a bad feeling about him. Frodo gets weaker and sicker as they travel through the dangerous paths towards Mordor, the place Sera wants to see least of all. Sera notices this and insists that Frodo should rest and recover his strength. When they get to the Black Gates, they find out that there's no way they could possibly get in. Gollum tells the trio of a place where it's safer but darker, away from the prying eyes of the enemy. Sera is furious, wondering why he hadn't spoken of this before. While Sera tries to insist to Frodo that Gollum is a treacherous creature, Frodo thinks that he can change him.
