Natalie and Carmosole talked for a long while before she retired to bed. She was pestered by a certain lamp until she struck him with her Stix. Natalie was too tired to check the damage. She just wanted sleep.

Natalie heard voices around her. She rubbed her eyes with her hands then yawned. "Rise and shine". She mocked herself. She turned to see a dressed Zee, Fortin and a black haired man. "You have ten minutes to get ready", Zee said, "we have to head to Boshville as soon as possible. Something big happened". "Wow! And to think I expected a good morning". She drawled the sarcasm.

The men excused her and Natalie went to the wardrobe. To her surprise, she found a black tank top, blue jeans, sneakers and a denim jacket. "I might consider forgiving you". She smirked to herself.

She didn't bother to pack her hair as she finished dressing. She was anxious for their return to her home. "Is Casper okay?" She asked as she sat shotgun. "We'll know when we get there". Zee started the car. "What does that mean?"

"It means we don't have details. The camp of the feds was half destroyed yesterday. Our Intel said a fight broke out and some buildings collapsed".

"Oh no!" Natalie began to panic. "We are not going through your emotional ride today. Pull it together", Zee snapped, "from what we know, Casper released them from the cells". Cells? Natalie tried to control herself. She was busy running away from killers while her best friend was caged like an animal. She hoped he was okay. She hoped.

"Okay. Let's talk about your sister and why you never said anything", Natalie crossed her arms, "don't forget to explain about the whole fifty years thing and why that guy at the back has been scowling at you all morning". The black haired man just gave her a glare.

"There wasn't exactly time to discuss Carmosole. And I knew you'd meet her again so I shrugged it off", Zee began, "about the invasion...it happened almost fifty years ago in human counting. The time system on our planet was different. We realized that when we landed here. Seconds up there equals hours down here".

"Okay". Natalie nodded. She was glad that it didn't mean she was supposed to look wrinkled. "Is it the same for Casper?" She asked. "Being in the same Galaxy gives us similar abilities but not same conditions", he replied, "their planet are of shape shifters. Their timeline is close to that of humans but they can decide to take on any age group they wish". "Not sure I understand but forget it", she said, "and he is?"

Zee checked the man through the front mirror. "I believe 'he' can speak for himself". The man snapped. "So, who are you?" Natalie ignored his sour tone. "The name's Tristan. Why'd you wanna know? You got a problem with me?"

"Are you always this broody or are you trying to impress me?" Natalie gave him a toothy grin. Tristan was caught off guard so he smiled. "You're something else kid". He said. Natalie seemed impressed that she had successfully sliced the tension in the car by a fraction.

"You've been quiet, Fortin. Is something wrong?" She didn't know him well but she wanted to. "Nothing is wrong. At least I hope so", Fortin answered, "I cannot shake off the feeling that something big is coming". "Are you positive, Fortin?" Zee questioned before Natalie had a chance to open her mouth.

"The scanners have not picked up any ships but I cannot help but worry. Boshville is a small town that houses many. It is only a matter of time before the energy signatures become suspicious enough for someone to investigate".

"He is dead. His army fell back. We shouldn't waste our time worrying about something that will not come". Tristan joined in.

"I agree with Tristan. He is dead. His army might want revenge but they are not a threat without him. We are safe, Fortin. Do not be alarmed". Zee tried to comfort his friend.
