Natalie paced from left to right. "Why can't we teleport?" She asked Carmosole who was trying to think of all plan. "They have sensors all around town", Carmosole explained, "there might not be one here but who knows how many are around Fiona's house?" "Then we walk. Blend in. That could work". Natalie was a nervous wreck. "We'll need some supplies. Follow me closely and no matter what happens keep your mouth shut". "I'll try". Natalie rolled her eyes.< ~ >< ~ >
Casper stared in shock at the video text. Zee tried Carmosole's number but there was no service. "Dang it!" He groaned in frustration. "She's gonna be fine". Moss rubbed Casper's shoulder. Casper glared at Zee. "If anything happens to her, I won't forgive you". He threatened. "She's with Carmosole. I know she's safe and the farther she is away from this plan, the better". Zee replied.
Petunia steered for a minute. "I've got it". Evie announced. She zapped the woman and she fainted again. "We need to move now", Fiona said, "Evie and Alexis, are you alright? There is a cold room in the back". "We could spend a few minutes while the planning phase goes on". Alexis said.
The cousins walked to the back. "Fiona, I need your system". Zee moved with Fiona to the sitting room. "You need food Tristan. You have gone pale". Fortin touched Tristan's forehead. "I'm fine. I can manage". Tristan replied with a deeper frown. "This isn't just about you now, is it?" Fortin raised an eyebrow. Tristan opened his mouth but sighed in defeat as he had no counter argument.
"Why don't you finally explain about our life?" Casper turned to Moss. "There's nothing to talk about". Moss looked away. "What is so wrong with telling me the truth?" Casper made his tone very soft. "There is no truth. Can you drop it?" "What is wrong with you?!" Casper lost his temper.
"I can literally read your thoughts so just come out with it!"
"I already said there's nothing to say!"
"I know we're married, Moss!"
Moss had a look of horror on his face. "Yes, I do", Casper continued, "I also know that you carry our wedding bands around. What I don't get is why you would lie about it". "Because you're in love with someone else!" Moss finally let his emotions show. Casper was speechless. "I watched you everyday since the incident. You had a great life and I didn't want to ruin it by walking back in. That's the truth! Are you happy now?!"
"I should punch you in the face for thinking like that", Casper held Moss's hands, "how can my life be happy when it's not real?" "It was real. You were given a second chance to stay away from all these and how can I say that I love you if I take it away from you? I just couldn't".
Casper smiled and moved closer, "you're handsome but stupid", he chuckled, "whatever life I had with you was worth the risk. Ever since yesterday, my life has been a wild ride..." "My point exactly. Do you know how it clawed my heart to see you get tortured?"
"None of it matters if I'm not true to myself. I might have forgotten our past memories but we can make new ones. So instead of pushing me away, let me make 'us' real again".
"What about Natalie? I know you love her".
"As a sister. She is awesome but dating her would be weird. She probably thinks I'm a dork and I can't handle her sass". The two laughed. Moss placed a loving hand on Casper's cheek. He brushed it gently. "Are we really doing this?" Moss asked. "We might be dead in a few hours so why not now". Casper licked his lips.
"I want something like that". Tristan wiped his face. He wasn't eavesdropping but Casper and Moss were pretty loud. "And you'll get it". Fortin rubbed his back. "I'm sorry for crying. It's just hormones. I hate this". Tristan complained. "I completely understand my friend". Fortin gave a reassuring smile.
Fiona typed on the tablet as the images from spy cameras popped on the screen. Zee was studying each intensely. "We're not on Ivo", she suddenly said, "you're hurting him and yourself". "Rules are rules, Fiona", Zee replied, "there is honor in following them". "Really? Then why did you learn how to fight? It is against the law".
"It is not the same scenario".
"Please enlighten me on how different it is".
"Avara was destroyed for love. I would be selfish to give him the same fate". "And you would be foolish to abandon him in the state he is in". Fiona retorted. Zee gave her a confused look. "Do not tell me you've lost your senses. Can you not hear the renomones or at least wonder why the sudden attachment?"
All the blood drained from his face. It cannot be, can it? He mused. "Found it!" Fiona announced, "warehouse at Shallow 180". "Good. We need to move now". Zee marched into the meeting room.
"Did you find it?" Moss asked. "Yes. Petunia would be expected to have prisoners so Evie and Alexis would play as such. Moss, you can duplicate to Frank. The more numbers the higher the attention", Zee explained, "Fiona, you'll open the entrance wide enough for me to enter. They would never believe that an Ivocian would be captured easily. And Casper, you'll have to compel the guards to believe our story in case they get suspicious".
"And where do we fit in this plan?" Tristan and Fortin joined the conversation. "You don't. You three are going back to Dollytown. Whether you teleport or not, the General would ignore a signal from there". "You don't get to cut me out of this". Tristan argued.
"Tristan, let's not turn this into a fight. I am very much annoyed as it is".
"At who? Me?"
"Yes! When were you going to freaking tell me?! I had to hear it from Fiona!"
"Would you have believed me?! Would you have taken me back? Would you have changed your mind?! You can't blame me from hiding the truth".
"Can you both stop yelling?!" Casper shouted, "what are you talking about?" "Why don't you explain Zarphon?" Tristan crossed his arms, "tell them how you left me when I needed you the most". "I walked away to protect you". Zee said. "On Earth too? Sure as hell just seemed like you didn't care". Tristan wore a sarcastic smile.
Zee wanted to talk but he held back his harsh words. Tristan was in a delicate state. He shouldn't be stressed for any reason. "You're staying back to protect a life", Zee finally said, "you can't argue that". Tristan knew he was defeated so he stormed off to sulk in another room. "I agree with you in everything but not this, Zarphon. You are in the wrong". Fortin shook his head in disapproval before going after Tristan.
"I do not understand what the hell just happened". Casper turned to Moss for help. "Read my mind". Was all Moss said. Casper scoffed but did as told. His eyes widened at the new information. "How is that even possible?" Casper was in shock. "Our way of life is quite different from that of humans. Except being homophobic". Moss rolled his eyes. Casper just nodded. His words has been snuffed out.

Carmosole knocked on a house in 15 George driveway street. "What are you doing?" Natalie whisper yelled, "we're supposed to be laying low". "Like I said before, no matter what, keep your mouth shut", Carmosole warned, "one sonic scream and we're all dead".
The door opened to reveal a tall black man. Natalie furrowed her brows as she had never seen him before. "If it isn't the beautiful Elena". The man smirked. "Shut your face, Walter", Carmosole snapped, "are they here?" "The only safe spot in town as far as I know so yeah, they're in". Walter answered.
Carmosole pushed past him and walked inside. Natalie wanted to say something to the dude that was clearly checking her aunt out but held back. She went in too. The house was full. Natalie marveled at how quiet it was on the inside with the number.
Her ears spiked at the sound of a snort. She knew that snort a mile away. The flash of blond hair did completely sour her mood. "My oh my! I never thought I'd see you here, McEvans". The blond wore a smug look. Natalie shook her head and muttered, "hell no!" She could never keep quiet while standing in the same room as Hunter Ackerman.
Figured I should bring in more drama. What do you think is going on between Zee and Tristan ? And would Natalie keep her mouth shut?
Find out in the next part!
Love you,
Josy💜
