~Aspect's P.O.V~

When we arrived at Chan's place, he opened the door for me. I had already explained to him everything that happened and he apologized, even though he had nothing to be sorry about. I texted Kun about what I was doing since I felt guilty about leaving. Even though I got lectured, he promised me he'd tell everyone about where I had gone.

Once I stepped in, the boys immediately saw me and smiled.

"Noona you're back!" Changbin cheered, running up to me and hugging me, Jeongin following behind him and doing the same.

"Long time no see boys" I told them all and they all gave me a hug. Lee Know gave me one last and he let it linger for a while. He pulled away and when he did he kept an arm wrapped around my waist.

"Now you see, Aspect. I still don't get why you're with Chan hyung even though I'm right here. To each their own though I guess" He stated, before Chan smacked his arm, pulling me away from him. Lee know just smiled and rolled his eyes and Chan.

"Come on Aspect! Let's go make some brownies" Felix said, grabbing my hands. Then Jisung butt in.

"No! Aspect come and play video games with jeongin and I" Jisung pouted and as I went to speak another person cut me off.

"Actually, Aspect and I should hang out. I'd love to teach you how to paint" Hyunjin smiled at me.

"Aspect I'm thinking about getting a puppy, wanna help me decide?" Seungmin proposed.

"Well I think that Aspect should come with me. I have loads of new torture devices I'd love to show you" Lee Know cheered and I cocked a brow at him.

"Absolutely not! Aspect and I are gonna watch a movie together, isn't that right Aspect?" Changbin pleaded. Then they all started to argue about what I was going to do. Chan and I looked at each other, not believing the mess we caused by not even doing anything.

"How about Aspect and I hang out together since she's my fiancée?" Chan asked them all, causing them all to look at him like he were crazy.

"What are you, nuts?" Hyunjin asked him, causing the rest to nod.

"Yeah! You always have Aspect all to yourself," Jisung said, Jeongin following.

"You need to learn how to share!" Jeongin screeched, which made Chan roll his eyes, now all 8 of them arguing. After a solid minute, I made myself present.

"Okay! How about this. I'm staying for the next couple of days before the masquerade so here's what we'll do. I'll make brownies with Felix and while they're baking Hyunjin can teach me how to paint. When the brownies are done, we all can watch a movie-" I was explaining my idea when Changbin cut me off.

"No" was all he said and I looked at him confused.

"No?" I questioned and he shook his head.

"Just me and you are watching the movie, no one else" He pouted and I rolled my eyes at his cuteness.

"Okay fine, when the brownies are done I'll play video games with Jeongin and Jisung. Then I'll hang out with Chan a little bit before going to bed. Now tomorrow I will look at Lee Know's torture devices, I'll help Seungmin look at puppies and then to end the night we can watch our movie Changbin. How does that sound?" I proposed, and they all agreed.

"I can get behind that" Felix said, smiling. I rolled my eyes at the fact that I just had to negotiate with grown adults, but smiled regardless.

These boys were interesting, and already meant a lot to me. I'm just thankful that the group I'm stuck with was Straykids, because I don't know if I'd be able to manage it being anyone else.

So that's how my night went, hanging with the boys and getting to know them. Felix and I's brownies came out amazing, Hyunjin is a fantastic painter and I struggle to even hold a brush, I beat Jisung and Jeongin every time, and talking to Chan really brought us closer. They all were amazing people and I enjoyed each and every single moment with all of them. I went to bed that night, the happiest I had been in a while and I woke up feeling the same way. After being bombarded by Lee Know first thing in the morning to look at all of his torturing tools, the day went by pretty normally. I looked at puppies with Seungmin, even though he decided not to get one, and when night fell I watched a movie with Changbin, causing us both to fall asleep on one another.

Before I knew It, the day of the masquerade was here. Chan had bought me a really expensive black and red dress to match with his black and red tux. We each had matching masks that covered 3/4ths of our faces, and our engagement rings sat nicely on each of our fingers. It was going to be easy to pick Chan and I out of the crowd, but that was the point. The masquerade ball was being thrown for us, so even though we might not be able to tell the guests apart, they should know who we are. 

I sighed as I looked into the mirror at Chan and I, nervous for the event. Chan turned me to look at him and held my hands. "It'll be okay, Y/N. Just relax" he told me sweetly, and I chuckled softly.

"I'm just nervous to be like one of the main people there. Everyone's going to be trying to talk to us" I spoke softly, letting my nerves get the best of me.

"Don't worry, I'll try my best to stay near you at all times. You're not alone in this, I swear. I'll be there right alongside you" He smiled at me and I smiled back, thanking him for his kind words.

"Alright, well" He said, adjusting his suit and tie.

"Let's get this show on the road."
