~Aspect's P.O.V~
When I woke up, it was cold. I snuggled into my blanket before sitting up, realizing Taeyong was no longer here with me. I checked the time on my phone and it read '7:29 am'.
As soon as I checked the time, I heard a knock at my door. "Come in!" I shouted. My door opened and I saw Yuta standing there.
"Time for breakfast. Oh and, get dressed before hand. The boys are very angry with you," Yuta told me crossing his arms. I rolled my eyes and got up out of bed, heading to my wardrobe.
"What did I do this time?" I groaned, he just chuckled at me as I continued to look for clothes.
"The invitation came this morning" Yuta told me, I turned around to face him with wide eyes.
"Shit, this soon?" I asked him, not wanting to deal with this so early.
"Yup, and it seems like the world really screwed you over this morning. The masquerade AND the wedding invitation both arrived today" He told me laughing.
"Dude, why me?" I whined, not wanting to go downstairs and face everyone. As I finished grabbing my clothes, he was still laughing at me. I glared at him and he just put his hands up.
"Hey, hey! Don't shoot the messenger, Aspect. Anyway, I'll catch you downstairs" He laughed once more before exiting my room and closing the door behind him. I sighed at the whole encounter, not wanting to face everyone this morning.
However, I sucked it up and finished getting dressed. Once I was done I went downstairs, slowly, treasuring every last second I had. When my foot reached the bottom everyone stared at me. They all stopped eating and just stared at me, no one saying anything. Until a certain person spoke up.
"Bangchan and Aspect sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-" Haechan got cut off by an annoyed Mark smacking him.
"Dude! Knock it off" Mark whispered shouted at the younger, causing him to pout.
Kun rolled his eyes and then stood up. "Why didn't you tell any of us about the masquerade ball? Or about invitations going out" Kun asked me, clearly offended. I sighed.
"I just found out about the masquerade ball on the phone last night. I didn't even know they sent out invitations" I told him honestly, now It was Taeyong's turn to speak.
"So you lied to me last night then. You said the phone call was nothing. This is clearly something" Taeyong spat, his words harsh and quick. I looked at him sadly, while he looked at me angrily.
"I'm sorry, alright? I didn't want you to freak out, I was gonna tell you when I told everyone else" I told him and he just sarcastically laughed.
"So what then, you would've never told anyone. You were just gonna let the invitation tell us regardless of when it came. Don't act so noble," He hissed, clearly beyond pissed off. I just put my head down.
"You're right, and everyone I'm sorry. I didn't want to bring it up since I knew it was a sensitive topic to most of you," I sighed, never looking up. No one said anything, but I heard footsteps walking towards me. Then I felt a pair of arms wrapping around me, and I immediately recognized them, so I hugged back.
"Don't let them upset you, Aspect. This is about you, not them. You didn't have to tell us, it's not your job to make sure they feel okay when you're hurting," Lucas told me, never letting go. I hugged him back even harder, thankful for his words. When he pulled away, Taeyong still looked annoyed and I felt guilty for not telling him.
"Come on Aspect, ignore Taeyong. He's just being himself. None of us are mad at you, just come and grab something to eat" Taeil told me, taking off his apron and setting it down. I looked from him to Taeyong and forced a smile.
"That's alright, I'm not too hungry. I actually need to go and do something really quick" I lied, hurrying and sprinting up the stairs and to my room. When I entered, I slammed the door behind me, breathing heavily as I locked it.
When I closed the door I slowly slid down it, putting my head in my hands. I didn't know what to do, or why I even felt this way. Why did Taeyong make me feel this way? Why did he make me feel so guilty and horrible for not telling him? As I looked around my room I couldn't stand being in there. I stood up and began pacing around my room, trying not to freak out. It didn't work though, It just made it worse. I looked at myself in the mirror and it just pissed me off. That's when I couldn't take it anymore. I punched my mirror so hard it shattered. Then I looked from my broken mirror to my hand, realizing what I had done.
"Fuck," I mumbled, wondering why I had to be such an idiot. I went into my nightstand and grabbed a bandage, wrapping my hand, trying to stop the bleeding. "God dammit, why am I like this?" I cursed, still not believing I could be so stupid.
A few seconds later I heard banging at my door. "Aspect? What was that noise? What are you doing in there? Are you okay? Aspect!" I heard Kun yell, the banging never stopping. I rolled my eyes as I pulled out my phone and grabbed a duffel bag.
"I'm fine Kun, leave me alone please!" I shouted back, in no mood for this right now as I began to text Chan.

Aspect 🫶:
Hey Chan, could you pick me up?Chan 🐺:
Hey! Of course I can :). Is something wrong?Aspect 🫶:
Everything's fine.Chan 🐺:
That doesn't sound too convincing :(. Are you sure you're okay?Aspect 🫶:
Yes Chan, I'm fine. I'll explain everything in the car.
I figured I could spend the night tonight and tomorrow since then we can both head to the masquerade together :)Chan 🐺:
Okay! I have no problem with that.
I'll be there in 20, be ready.Aspect 🫶:
I'll see you then :)------------------------------
Throughout my texts with Chan I finished packing and Kun was non stop at my door. Eventually that's when I heard Jaehyun.
"Hey Aspect, come on. You need to eat, come downstairs with me, please" I heard him beg, and as much as it pained me to do so, I ignored him. I just patiently waited for Chan.
After a little bit they stopped. About 15 minutes later though, they came back. This time with two new recruits.
"Aspect, open this door now" I heard Taeyong uninterestingly say. My heart ached at his behavior as I heard Jaehyun yell at him.
"We asked you to come up here to help us get her out! Not act like a dick!" Jaehyun ranted and Taeyong scoffed. My phone then dinged, not on silent. It was Chan saying he was here.
"Aspect? Who was that?" Kun asked and I sighed, knowing I couldn't go out the door. So I looked around, seeing my window. I quickly went to the window, opening it and looking down, I was on the second floor but there was a rain gutter right next to my window. I smiled at the convenient placement as I threw my bag out the window, resulting in a huge thud to be heard.
"That's it Aspect! We're coming in there!" I heard Kun shout, and I groaned lowly, knowing I didn't have much time left.
"I'm sorry Aspect, but I gotta do it," I heard Jeno shout and I rolled my eyes at them needing Jeno to kick down my door. After hearing Jeno's voice though, I wasted no time in jumping out the window and sliding down. Once I hit the ground I picked up my bag and ran, hearing them kicking at my door. I saw Chan leaning on his car, looking at me confused.
I quickly ran to the car and threw open the door, tossing my bag in the back. He hopped in quickly as well upon noticing me rushing. When he got in he started the car and went to speak but I wouldn't let him.
"Drive!"
