"Say that again," I quickly said, hoping that my mind is playing tricks on me for the first time. "You're an angel and a demon," Zagan repeated for Zariya then snapped his fingers so someone can wash Diego.
"Let's talk more in the house. Be gentle with him," he ordered his workers.
His arms wrapped around my waist, giving me a calm feeling just like that. Every time he holds me, it makes me relax. "Our souls are tied, Zagan. Does that explain why I am always so calm around you?" I asked, taking a seat on the couch. "Yep," he simply replied.
"How can I be an angel and a demon? Does that just make me a normal human being? I-I'm not saying that people have evil with them. Everyone has some good in them, right?" I asked them, not receiving an answer from neither of them.
I began to get upset that I couldn't figure out what's wrong with me. Frustration... I've began feeling frustrated. "I'll say everyone has good in them," Zariya said. "I've seen the meanest person in the world crack a smile for the first time," she commented then looked to Zagan.
"Zagan is not mean. He saved me," I said turning my head to him, seeing him glaring at Zariya. "Right," she whispered then waved her hands around. "I've never seen someone who is both an angel and a demon. This is fascinating," she hummed.
I looked at my hands on my lap and frowned. "Am I a judge or something? Someone who decides who goes to hell or heaven?" I asked. "You're more like heaven's taboo," she said, making me let out a soft exhale then lean back on the couch, wishing it will swallow me whole.
"Why don't the heavens accept me? Do hell accept me?" I asked, seeing Zagan and Zariah look at each other and scrunch their noses. "Why not?" I asked, feeling so unwanted. "The heavens do not want you because you can save everyone. You help the people who has already had their name removed from the book to be saved right before their deaths. Hell... Well, Hell loves you. But not in the way that they should. You can save them from their eternal sins," she said as I pulled my legs up to my chest.
"Why don't God want more people in heaven?" I asked.
"Once He removes a name from the book, their name does not supposed to reappear. You're basically a god, angel," Zagan explained. I let out a small laugh while shaking my head. "There is only one God. And He is a man," I mumbled.
Zariya stood up and folded her arms. "God had a wife. She was his equal, but He did not want Her to do the duties that He did. The angels loved His wife, but He did not like that She was loved more than Him. She is the one who convinced her husband to send Jesus to earth to save everyone. God is a jealous God, so he chose a brutal way for Jesus to come back," Zariya explained.
"Crucifixion," I mumbled. "So, God is evil?" I asked. Her eyes widened while shaking her head. "No, no. God is still the great almighty or whatever. He just banished his wife because he wanted to be the one and only," she summarized.
I turned my head to Zagan, seeing that he's already staring at me. "What happened to His wife?" I asked him. "No one knew. Lucifer became rebellious, wanting God's wife so that he and her can become powerful enough to take the throne. Lucifer spent a lot of time in Hell, and he became coo-coo," he said making a whistle noise and crossing his eyes.
My nose scrunched at his funny face and a soft giggle right after. "There are many rumors that His wife walks the Earth, still trying to save the wrong doers and sinners," Zagan trailed off.
"I can't be God's ex-wife! I am part demon," I said in complete disbelief. "Technically you're neither angel or demon. You're a supernatural goddess. Same as God. That's how he managed to wipe the world with a flood," He explained.
I sat back in my seat and stared at the ceiling. "God is my ex-husband, but my soul is tied to a demon?" I said in a questioning tone. "Yeah, I'm a lucky one too," Zagan chuckled then kissed my temple.
"Why don't I remember anything?" I whispered to myself. "You're a powerful Goddess, angel. You could have made yourself forget. I don't know why you would make me your soul mate though," Zagan mumbled with a deep frown. "Unless God did it," Zariya suddenly commented.
I let out a loud sigh and stood up. "Great," I grumbled. "Let me take you shopping. You need more clothes and stuff like that," Zagan said then grabbed my hand. "Shopping? I don't have money, Zagan. Money makes people do bad things," I reasoned while following him to a different room.
"This is my room, angel. It's off limits to everyone, understand?" He asked, earning a soft nod. He let my hand go then went into the room. I stood outside the door, watching him make his way to his closet. "I will have one of the servants to get you some-" he started but once he turned around, he stopped and looked at me.
"What are you doing, angel?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "You said its off limits," I said, raising an eyebrow also.
Zagan let out a low chuckle while unbuttoning his shirt. His abs always fascinated me for some odd reason. "You're the only exception, angel. Come in," he said, allowing me to step in and take in his room.
"It smells amazing," I mumbled, taking in the lavender and berry scent. "I know," I heard as the door close. His arms slowly wrapped around my waist, giving me that satisfying relaxing shiver. "When we go to the store, I need you to stay close to Zariya. Understand?" He mumbled into my ear.
I leaned my head back and let out an approval hum. "Good," he whispered then turned me around and tilt my head up. "Would you like a kiss?" He asked with that devious smirk. "Yes, please," I smiled.
His kisses always relax me, I wonder if mine do the same to him. I leaned up and felt his lips press onto mine. My hand slid up his stomach and chest, resting on his jaw. His tongue slipped into my mouth, making a surprised moan to escape.
I nipped at his bottom lip then used my tongue to sooth the small pain. My body was lifted into his arms, making me pull away and let out a giggle. "I didn't know you was this strong," I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck so he wouldn't drop me.
"There are many things you don't know but I will be happy to show you. Maybe some of it after dinner," he suggested. "Are you asking me out on a date, Zagan?" I asked, tracing his bottom lip. "I don't ask. I demand, but for you. Yes," he mumbled.
He leaned his head back and raised an eyebrow. "What's your answer, angel?" He asked. "Of course," I giggled then pressed my lips to his.
This time, my tongue slid into his mouth, catching him completely off guard. The kiss got so deep that he had to pull away and place me on the bed. "Damnit, Malak," he grumbled, stuffing his hands in his pants.
I still got the sight of the large print in his pants. "Let's get dressed," he grumbled then went into his closet. I've never experienced sexual arousal, but I've read that it could be frustrating. "Look like you're thinking hard over there," Zagan chuckled.
"I was just wondering how sexual frustration feels," I mumbled. "You really made sure you came to this earth not knowing anything, did you?" He laughed while folding his arms. "Will you show me?"
