Zagan's POV
I immediately sat up straight as I heard Malak's soft voice. "Malak? Get off," I rushed, pushing Zariya off of her. I lifted her up and hugged her like she would leave all over again. "Are you okay, Malak? Do you need anything?" I frantically asked. "For you to put me down," she giggled.
I quickly sat her on the bed only for Zariya to straddle her and kiss all over her face. "You scared me! I should kill you!" She sighs and I went to threaten her only for Drake to nudge me, reminding me that Malak is basically her sister now.
"Okay," I mumbled, pulling her off of her. Zariya quickly wiped her cheeks then smacked my hands away. Malak looked around then took a deep breath. "How are you feeling? Do you remember-" I started, only for her to place a finger on my lips.
"Remember you telling me that we're not together? Yes, yes, I do remember," she replied, causing my heart to beat against my chest. "But I understand that you are not use to showing your emotions, so I forgave you once and I forgave you twice. I would like to save my forgiving for the people who will actually need them, right?" She asked, folding her arms.
Me and Zariya shared a look, knowing that this is not the Malak we know. "Right," everyone within the room said, definitely catching on to this 'change'. "Sorry if I'm being so weird, I had a talk with my ex-husband and now remember everything," she trailed off while looking around the room.
"You talked to God?" "You remember everything?" Me and Zariya asked at the same time. She turned to us and let out a cute laugh. "I expected Zagan to question me talking to God," she laughed. "Before you all bombard me and give me another migraine, I need to see that guardian dog of mine," she said.
Diego came from the closet with his tail tucked between his legs and his head bowed while approaching her. "Awn, you're still my friend, Diego. I just wish you told me that you were my guardian as I walked the Earth," she said, earning a bark from him. "I know, I know," she sighs, rolling her eyes.
"Did she just talk to a dog?" Drake asked. "Technically her guardian angel," Zariya answered. "I might be a tad rusty so bear with me," she said as we all watch and wait for her to perform something big.
She made a glass appear in her hand then began chugging it. "Well, I could have done that," I chuckled. She held up her finger while continuing to drink from the glass. "How is she still drinking?" Khalil asked as I watch her in amazement.
After a good minute, she finally removed the glass from her lips, allowing us to watch as the glass continue to fill. "Oh, uh," she said as the water spills over. "I told you I'm a little rusty," she laughed nervously.
She walked to me then held the overflowing cup to me. "Drink," she suggested. I wasted no time drinking from the cup that she drank from. I didn't think I was so thirsty until I actually began drinking. "Thank you," I mumbled once I was satisfied. The cup stopped overflowing, but it stopped right at the brim.
I placed the cup where Diego was, allowing him to drink. "Zariya, thank you for taking care of me. I'm sure that it scared you," Malak frowned while placing a kiss on her cheek. "I'm just glad that you're okay," Zariya trailed off, still confused of this newfound confidence she is showing us.
"Khalil and Drake. I need to talk to-" she started then took a deep breath. "Matter of fact, you may come," she changed while picking up Diego. "Let's have dinner somewhere private, yes?" She asked, earning a nod from me and everyone else.
Grass began growing beneath us and the walls within the room began crumbling apart. "Don't be afraid," Malak giggled towards Drake who was now standing closer to Khalil. A tree suddenly grew in the middle of the bed, causing it to break apart.
"Careful," Malak smiled, catching a weird looking fruit from that fell from the tree. I looked around and saw we were in a forest. "I would like to recommend everyone to step over here," she instructed, and I had no problem doing that just so I can get closer to her.
Half a tree suddenly fell, but it looks like it was perfectly gut down the middle. I watched as Malak moved and took a seat at the other side of the table. "Khalil, Drake? Can you fetch us some water to clean our hands in?" She asked, earning a quick nod.
When they turned around to walk away, Malak cleared her throat. "I believe you both will need something to carry the water," she whispered loudly as I sat across from her. "I'm just messing with you. You will find what you need once you find the stream," she smiled, making me stare at her and snap pictures into my memories.
"I thought my future husband would sit next to me," Malak sighs, dramatically. "Oh, sorry," I mumbled, quickly getting by her side and wrap my arm around her waist. "You feeling, okay?" I asked, leaning in for a kiss.
She placed her index finger on my lips then moved back some. "I am feeling fine, thank you for asking but I am still hurt by your words, Zagan," she said, using some type of material and began making a hat or basket with it.
"Malak," I frowned then took a deep breath and kissed her shoulder. "I'm sorry, beautiful. I don't have any hoes and- and we are together. I'm going to wife you up and spoil you with whatever you want," I rambled while hugging her tighter.
"Technically you're already my husband, I just haven't made you a god yet," she mumbled, causing Zariya to choke and drop some grapes she managed to get. "You sure you want to make him a god?" She laughed, causing Malak to stand up.
She placed the basket down then began making another. "Are you judging your brother-in-law?" Malak asked. Zariya looked at her then at the table with a smile. "Are you blushing?" I taunted. "Shut the fuck up," she said through her teeth. I raised my hands while laughing.
"Preparing for this dinner will take a lot of work," she sighs sprinkling grains into the first basket. "What dinner?" I asked, standing up. "We will discuss over dinner," she said as Khalil and Drake came back with two clay bowls filled with water.
"We caught fish!" Khalil hoot while placing the bowls on the table. "Thank you both so much, now sit as I prepare dinner."
