Drake and Khalil pulled the seats out for us, allowing me to smile at them while taking a seat. "I'm sure He will-" I heard my son stop, making me look up and see him staring directly at me. "Mom?" He choked, standing in all of his glory.
I stood up and went to him and placed my hands on his face. "Hey, baby boy," I smiled, causing him to wrap his arms around me and lift me up in his arms. "You're really here!" He laughed as I squealed and let him have his moment.
When he did stop spinning me around, he continued to hold me as if I would disappear in his arms. "Jesus, put me down," I laughed, feeling my feet finally touch the ground. I placed kisses all over his face then took a deep breath. "Will you be joining us for dinner?" I asked, glancing to Jehovah.
He shook his head, making me sigh and kiss his cheek. "Very well. I'll see you before I leave," I smiled. He nodded his head and glanced to Jehovah once more before leaving the room. "Are you okay, angel?" Zagan whispered right behind me while wrapping his arms around me.
"Yeah, I missed him," I mumbled, feeling a tear slipped, against my wishes. Zagan moved around me and wiped the tears away. "You will see him again, angel," he frowned, tilting my head up to him.
I took a deep breath and nodded my head. "I know. I just-" I began to explain but he pecked my lips and shook his head. "You don't need to explain yourself, beautiful. Now let's take a seat," he mumbled, holding his hand out for me to take.
We both made it back to our seats then sat down. "Malak," Jehovah called, making me look up at him and see him sitting upright in his chair like he does when he's on his throne. "Yes?" I smiled, watching our children happily come from the kitchen to serve us our food and drink.
I went to drink from my glass, only to see Jehovah staring at me. "You know why we're having this dinner, Malak. Come back," he voiced, only for me to let out a sigh. "I usually stand behind you with every choice. Even when you decided to let them crucify our son, but this. This is what I will not agree on. Me and Zagan will rule the spirits of the earth. We will help these people and make sure that they make it to this kingdom to praise you. That is what you want, correct? You want all of the angels to praise and worship you and you only," I explained then took a sip.
"I don't think He like that," Zariya whispered, earning a small hum. "You let your servants speak out of turn, Malak?" He frowned, sounding disappointment. "I told you who are my servants. I never said that Zariya was a servant," I spoke, feeling a slight throb in my temple.
He cleared his throat before glancing down to his food. "I'm not asking for you to open the gates of heaven to everyone, but I'm asking for you to let our children roam the earth. Help save these people for their lack of knowledge. Let them show the truth of your word," I rant.
"I cannot allow that, Malak and you know that," he objected. "I will protect them from Lucifer, Jehovah. Do you not have trust in me?" I asked, only for him to simply take a bite of his food. That alone gave me the answer I needed.
"Malak," Zagan whispered, rubbing my inner thigh with his thumb. "Very well, then. We will be leaving," I sigh, standing up. Zariya and Zagan looked at me, seeing that I have given up. "Malak," Zariya frowned but I shook my head.
There is no point arguing with him. He will simply ignore my wishes and continuing doing what he wants. He is God; therefore I cannot win with Him. "I could have turned against you and began making my own world or bring our children to earth with me so they can see the truth and help the people that we created. But... I do not want to cause a war with you. I do not want to kill our innocent angels and I will be damned if I fight my begotten son," I snapped, watching some of my children stop and look to me then to Jehovah.
"Malak," Jehovah called as I was about to exit the dining room. "You have turned your back to me, Jehovah. Now I must turn mine to you," I whispered then grabbed Zagan's hand and guided him to the garden.
Not one word was said as I look into the fields of the garden. Zagan wrapped his arms around me then helped me sit next to him. "Are you okay?" He whispered after sitting in silence for about ten minutes. "No," I whispered as I let the tears taint my cheeks.
"Do you know Lilith?" I asked, hearing an approval hum from him. "She is Lucifer's wife," he mumbled. "I made Lilith more like me. She wanted to be equal, but Jehovah did not want her to be Adam's equal, so he made Eve from the flesh of Adam. Lilith became the serpent that convinced Eve to eat the fruit," I exposed, feeling his movements stop.
I saw some of the little babies playing around. "I am not trying to be Him, Zagan. I'm trying to help save the people and not let Lucifer gain more souls so he can try to take over the kingdom. Nothing more, nothing less," I sigh then quickly cleaned my face as I see the children begin to run to me. "I believe you, angel. We will help save them together. I don't know how I will help since I am a demon, but I will stand by your side," he said, making me smile and look to him.
"Promise to never turn against me?" I asked, watching him smile and lean towards me. "If I ever turn against you, angel. You may send me to the deepest depth of hell. The worst of the worst," he mumbled then placed his lips on mine.
"Ew!" I hear, making me pull back and laugh. I was soon tackled to the ground by the cutest of angels. "Evening, mommy," one of the little ones giggled, allowing me to wrap my arms around them. "Well, its way past evening, little ones. Are you all not sleepy?" I smiled, placing kisses on all of them.
They shook their heads and managed to get on Zagan also. "We never get tired! We have so much to do!" Isacc giggled. "I found a pretty flower, mistress," Silene cutely said while holding a pretty sunflower in front of me. "Awn, Silene. You shouldn't have!" I gasped, taking the flower then placed a kiss on her forehead.
She blushed and wrapped her tiny arms around my neck. "Are you staying now? We want you to stay," she muffled against my neck. "I-I can't Silene," I whispered, feeling all of the children pull away from me.
They all looked at me with sadness and some even cried. "Why not? Daddy never plays with us like you do!" Deshaun cried, making me frown and move so that I'm on my knees. "I can't stay because I've been-" I started, only for Zagan to cover my mouth. "-summoned to protect you all. She has to fight off all of the demons to make sure they don't take away your happiness and to bring more friends for you all to play with," Zagan lied, but it stopped them from crying and made them sit around me.
"Really? Are they evil?" Jamal asked. "No, everyone has some good in them," Zagan said while looking at me. I blushed and made the real Bible appear in my hands. "Who's ready for story time?" I asked in Hebrew, causing more children to gather around.
Zagan moved and laid down on his stomach in front of me and propped his head on his propped up arms. "Okay, we're ready," He smiled, making me laugh and opened the book to a chapter that I know that is not in the Bible on earth.
"The Book of Enoch..."
