Colby's POV

I Pulled the covers back and helped Marissa lay back in the bed. I laid next to her on her right side. "Try to get a little rest ok love Kate will be here later" I said as I gently pulled her back against my chest. "Ok" She said. I laid there and gently stroked her hair until she fell asleep.

I quietly and slowly got up and left the room shutting the door softly behind me. I walked downstairs and found Sam comforting a crying Kat on the couch. "Hey kat you ok" I asked. she shook her head. "She is just scared and worried about Marissa" Sam said. I nodded "Me too Kat but she is strong and we are gonna help her get through this" I said. Kat sniffled and nodded.

Sam, Kat, and I talked for about a hour till Kate arrived. "Hey Kate I'm so sorry to have you come out so last minute we are just really worried" I said. "no reason to apologize ok I'm here to help" Kate said. I nodded and told Kate everything that has been happening with Marissa. Sam, Kat, Kate, and I went upstairs and into the Master bedroom. I opened the door and Marissa was sitting up in bed staring out the double doors to the balcony.

"Hey Marissa" Kate said as we all walked over to her. Kate sat on the edge of the bed close to Marissa and I sat in bed by Marissa's side while Sam and Kat sat on the couch. Kate took Marissa's left hand gently and looked at it. "Oh Marissa" She said as she looked at Marissa's hand which was almost skeleton like. Marissa stayed quiet and just sat there.

"Would you guys mind leaving I wanna see how serious this is and I need to see her whole body so a little privacy please" Kate said. Sam and Kat stood up and left the room. I stood up and started to leave. Marissa grabbed my arm and I turned and looked at her. "Stay please" She said. I nodded.

"Ok Marissa lets have you stand up quick ok" Kate said. Marissa nodded and I helped her to her feet. "Is it ok if I have you take of your pants and sweatshirt honey you can leave your underwear and bra on" Kate said. Marissa nodded and slipped her pants off then took off her sweatshirt.

I almost gasped. Marissa was so thin her ribs were prominent and so were her hips. She looked so frail it made my heart break. I looked over at Kate who had a look of worry on her face. "Ok You can get dressed Kate said. I helped Marissa back into her clothes and back onto the bed.

"Ok Colby can I talk to you quick" Kate said. I nodded. "I'll be right back princess" I said then followed Kate out into the hallway. "Ok this is what I want you to do ok I sent Sam and Kat a list of foods that are good to start recovery of a eating disorder for her and try making smoothies they filling yet don't seem like a much. And she is weak but hiding it well. Sam told Me about her Ehlers Danlos too so Just keep a eye on her because a hard fall and she could break something from how frail she is rn" Kate said I nodded 

I thanked Kate as she left Then made my way back upstairs and into the bedroom. I opened the door and Marissa was asleep in bed. I slowly closed the door and went downstairs. When I got downstairs Sam and Kat walked through the front door with groceries. "Hey what did Kate" Say Kat asked. I filled them in on what Kate said while I helped them put away groceries.

20 Minutes later we finished and were sitting in the living room when I heard Marissa Coming down the stairs. She walked into the living room and was wearing jeans and my black skin hoodie and her hair was wet and down. "M did you take a shower" I asked her. "Yeah" She said. "M you could have collapsed again" I said. "I'm fine" She said. I didn't say anything else because I didn't want to upset her.

She walked over and sat next to me and put on her Birkenstocks. "M what are you doing" I asked. "Aren't we going to see the beach" She said. "Are you sure your up for that" I said. "Yessss" She said excitedly. "Ok but one condition you stay close to one of us please" I said. She nodded her head. 

Sam, Kat, Marissa, and I went out the back door down the deck on to the beach. It was a really nice beach. White sand, no garbage, shells, and little crabs. I walked with my arm around Marissa's waist. 

All four of us walked down and took of our shoes and put our feet in the water. I looked over and saw Marissa staring at a little crab with a smile on her face. God I missed that smile. We explored a little more before we went back inside the beach house. We all ended up talking and ordering pizza's.

Kat made Marissa a big smoothie and I was shocked when she finished it. We sat around until it was time to go outside for fireworks. We all went and sat on the couch on the deck  as the fireworks started. I looked over at Marissa and smiled. She was staring at the fireworks with a small smile. I leaned over and kissed her. I pulled back. "I love you Marissa" I said. "I love you too" She said.

Its been 2 weeks since we went on our little 4th trip. Marissa was doing great and had been seeing the dietician and psychiatrist. She has gain back a few pounds and started eating little more day by day. 

I walked down stairs to the kitchen and saw Marissa eating a little sandwich for lunch. "Hi princess" I said. "Hi baby" She said as she finished her sandwich. I just watched her and smiled. "What" she said when she was finished. I just smiled. "I'm so proud of you" I said. "you shouldn't be" She said as she went and washed her plate.

I came up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. "But I am" I said. She just nodded and put her plate in the drying rack and rested the back of her head against me. I kissed her forehead.

Astra and Kiwi came running in the kitchen then ran out into the living room.  Marissa and I laughed and followed them. Astra was getting bigger she was probably 20 pounds now and she was so strong.

Kiwi ran up the stairs and Astra began to follow but Marissa grabbed her before she could. I laughed as Astra wiggled in her arms and Marissa struggled to hold onto to her. I walked over and took Astra into my arms. "Thanks Babe" Marissa said. I nodded.

Marissa put her hands on Astra's face. "Hey you have to be gentle your bigger than Kiwi now ok" Marissa said. I chuckled and then Set Astra down. She ran up the stairs and almost Ran into Sam. "Woah" Sam said. "Sorry She is a crazy girl" Marissa said. Sam laughed as he walked into the living room. "Its ok really" Sam said.

"So I have been looking at places to investigate and film and talking to some friends and came up with our next trip for the channel" Sam said.  "Ok where and when" I asked him. I was little confused as to why he didn't talk to me about it because we usually plan stuff together.

"We are going back to Zak Bagans Haunted Museum and you Marissa are coming with and we leave next week wednesday" Sam said.  Marissa squealed from excitment. "Im going to pack" she said then ran to her room.

I stood there in shock Zak Bagans museum is dangerous and especially for Marissa. "Sam what the fuck are you thinking" I said. "What do you mean brother" Sam said confused. "Marissa is still learning with Amanda and you just want to throw her right into the deep end" I said getting frustrated.

"Woah dude she will be fine and Amanda is coming with again so its not a big deal" Sam said. 

"Not a big deal Sam there are evil demonic things there that even Amanda didnt mess with when we were there and she is experienced. Marissa has done 1 investigation as a medium and she got choked and had to be carried out of the building. Remember how badly it effected Stas when she was the one who was quiet. Imagine what it can do to Marissa who is open to this stuff" I said. I turned around and grabbed my keys and walked out the front door I needed to get some air.
