Hey guys I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for the late and inconsistent updates I've been crazy busy from the holidays and dealing with some mental health stuff but I will be writing and updating the story more consistently I also wanted to say thank you for reading and voting on my story it seriously makes me so happy. I love all you spooky people.

I wasn't worried about the museum before but the more I thought about it the more nervous I became. I continued getting lost in thought until Astra jumped up on the couch. I looked at her and she came and laid down and put her head in my lap. I smiled slightly.

"Hey squish are you tired from running around out here huh" I said. I pet her head a few times before I moved and she grumbled. "Oh I'm so sorry for moving your highness" I said sarcastically as I stood up. "Come on lets go inside" I said patting my leg. She hopped of the couch and followed me inside.

I started to walk up the stairs when Sam came out of Colby's room. I looked at him and he gave me a thumbs up as he went into his room. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and continued up the stairs. I walked into Colby's room and he was sitting up in bed on his phone Astra ran and got on the couch.

"Hey M" he said in his morning voice. "Hi baby" I said as I climbed in bed. He wrapped his left arm around me and I laid my head on his chest. We laid there quietly for a minute before he spoke. "I'm sorry" He said

I looked up at him. "Why are you sorry" I said "because of last night scaring you" I kissed him. "Don't apologize for stuff you cant control" I said. He nodded and kissed my forehead before looking back at his phone.

I could tell he wasn't fully back to being himself yet and I knew he just needed some time and support and I was gonna help him in every way I can.

We sat together in bed for about 15 min before there was a knock on the door. "Come in" I said. The door opened and Kat walked in. "Hey" I said. "Hey Kat" Colby said and put his phone down. Kat walked over and I patted the bed and she sat by Colby and I's feet.

"Hey Colby" Kat said softly. "Hey" He said. "You ok" She said. Colby nodded "Yeah I'm good" He said and smiled softly. Kat smiled and leaned over and gave him a quick hug then stood up. "Good tell us if that changes" She said and smiled then left the room.

I loved that Kat and Colby have the same relationship as Sam and I. Astra interrupted my thought by running out of Colby's room barking at absolutely nothing. Colby laughed and i smiled. Colby and I cuddled for about a hour before I got up and went to get ready.

I went to my room put my black bikini and dark blue sheer crop top over it and black jean shorts. I put on some winged black liner on top and under my eyes did my eyebrows some blush highlighter brows mascara and some clear lip gloss. I braided my hair into 2 french braids and put on my buckle boots. I walked out of my room and fed Astra.

I realized she was gonna need more food soon and that she needed more treats as well. I grabbed my keys and purse then texted the group chat that was me Colby Kat and Sam that I was going to get dog food and other stuff.

I got in my jeep and drove to the pets store. I walked in and grabbed Astra's food and some treats for her I saw some life jackets for dogs and i grabbed one for Astra then I paid and left.

I got back into my jeep and started it. I drove home and parked. I grabbed Astra's stuff and my purse and walked inside. Astra ran over and started barking excited. "Hi baby" I said as I put my keys on the hook and set my purse on the table. I leaned down and pet her for a bit before she ran out to the backyard.

I put away her treats and food and set her life jacket on the floor by her raincoat kat had got her.

I walked out to the back yard. Sam Kat and Colby were sitting in there swimsuits and talking. I walked over to Colby's chair and sat on his lap. "Welcome back" He said I smiled. "So what's up" I said. "We were just planning out stuff for the trip Sam said.

I went to say something but got distracted. Astra had went and grabbed the life jacket and ran out by us. She ran over to Colby and I. Sam and Kat started laughing. "What do you have" Colby said. "I bought her a life jacket so she can swim with us and isn't left out anymore" I said.

I stood up and put it on her and it fit perfect once we tightened up the straps. I kicked of my shoes and took of my top and shorts and walked over to the pool. Everyone followed me. Colby and I got into the deep end and Astra stood on the shallow part and Sam and kat sat bye her.

"Ok lets do this" Colby Said. "Come on Astra come on you can do it come here" I said. She cautiously inched forward then jumped to the deep water and her life jacket kept her floating she swam over to Colby and her grabbed her and we held her in the air as we all cheered.

Colby brought Astra to his chest and I wrapped my arms around his waist and kissed her head. 

We ended up swimming and just hanging out late into the night. the moon illuminating the pool reminding me of the night Colby and I met and how fast life can change.
