We had been driving for about 2 hours before my phone rang. I tsaid unknown caller. I answered "Hello" I said. "What did you tell Quin" I froze it was Elizabeth.

I pulled the phone away from my ear and brought my finger to my lips signaling to Colby to be quiet as I put in on speaker phone.

"What do you mean" I said. "Oh you know damn well what I mean she showed up here at the house and threatened your father and I" She said. Colby hit the mute button. "Don't let her walk all over you she is no longer in charge of you ok" He said. I nodded then hit unmute and took a deep breath before responding to Elizabeth.

"First of all he is not my father he never was and you were never my mother" I said. "How da.." She started but I cut her off. "Oh I'm not finished the shit you guys put me through will stick with me my whole life but I will no longer let it control me. I hope you enjoyed seeing me because I don't know if or when you will again. I am moving to California" I said tensely . "No your not you need us" She said.

I laughed. "I needed you as a child but you proved to me over end over that my needs don't matter to you guys. I also wanted to let you know you will not be allowed in the big moments of my life like my future wedding or the life's of my future children.  Oh and before I go I have to tell you something. Karma is a Bitch and lose my number" I said then hung up.

 I put my face in my hands and rubbed my eyes. I looked up at Colby as he turned into a gas station and parked. He turned to me with a shocked expression. " I know I shouldn't have said that shit I have to call her back" I said grabbing my phone.

Colby grabbed my phone and threw it in the back seat. "Heyyy what th.." I was cut of by Colby's lips crashing into mine. He pulled away fore a second looked into my eyes and holding my face. "Who are you and what did you do to my girlfriend" He said. I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"I'm so fucking proud of you plus that was so hot" he said I laughed. "Keep it in your pants buddy" I said as he got out to pump gas. He leaned in "Oh I will....For now" He said then shut the door.

I sat there in shock as butterflies erupted in my stomach. I could feel my cheeks getting hot as I was blushing. He opened the door and got back in he looked at me and smirked as we got back on the road.

We ended up driving for about 10 more hours before I was fighting sleep. 

"Go to sleep baby its ok" Colby said. "Ok wake me up when your tired" I said. he nodded and turned the music down. I rested my head on the window and fell asleep almost instantly.

I woke up to the sun shining. I sat up fast and looked at Colby. "Good morning sleepy" he said. "Colby how long did you let me sleep" I said. "12 hours you needed sleep" I gasped. "COLE I told you to wake me up when you were tired" I said. "MARISSA I know but I'm ok and you needed sleep plus we will be there in about an hour" He said.

"You have been driving for 24 hours babe you need to rest" I said. " I'm fine we cant stop or we will be late fo.." he stopped himself. "Late for what baby" I said. "Oh um late for lunch, Sam's getting pizza" He said. I knew he was hiding something but I Just let it go I trust him. 

An hour later we pulled into the driveway and there was a few cars in the driveway. "Who's here baby" I said getting nervous. "Just some friends sam invited them for pizza" I nodded and got out of my jeep. Colby grabbed my hand and started to pull me to the front door. "Baby we have to get my stuff" I said " We can get it later come on" he said.

He smiled at me and gave me a gentle kiss. He opened the front door and we walked in. "SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY" everyone yelled. "What the fuck" I said causing everyone to laugh. I turned and looked at Colby. "Baby I said I didn't want you to do anything" I said. "No you said not to do anything ON your birthday its not your actual birthday plus your birthday got ruined and you ended up in the hospital" He said

I pouted out my lip "I don't need you to do all this" I said. "I know but I wanted too and its too late so lets enjoy the party" He said and led me over to the group of people.

He introduced me to Kevin, Aryia, Amber, Reggie, Cassie, Corey, Jake, Mike, Brennen, Devyn, Tara, Griffin, Stas, and Xepher. Sam and Kat were there as well. Everyone was so nice and funny.

After I met everyone we went into the kitchen. there was a cake and pizza and drinks. I looked over to the pool table that was covered in gifts. I turned to everyone. "WHYYYY did you buy me stuff I don't need anything" I said. 

"ILL TAKE THEM" Jake yelled causing us all to laugh as Tara slapped his arm. "I think we better open them before she tries to give them back to us" Sam said. I laughed "ok Fine but lets do it outside it cramped in here" I said.

We brought the gifts outside and sat on the outside couch and Colby sat next to me. I opened the first one and started crying laughing. It was a rubber chicken, a paddle ball, a box of condoms and a Black No Name hoodie. "I pulled out everything. And everyone started laughing.

"Hmm I wonder who this is from....Jake thank you" I said laughing. "Your welcome" He yelled.

I grabbed Corey's next and opened it. Inside was a fidget spinner a case of monster and a little gumball Machine. "Thanks Corey" I said He nodded and smiled 

Reggie got me a new camera bag, Mike got me a Microphone with a speaker on it, Aryia got me a small speaker for my shower, Brennen got me a gift card for tender greens. 

I opened Kevin's gift and smiled. there were facemasks bubble bath bath salts bath bombs and some calming lotion. "AW Kevin". "I wanted to get you something that could help you relax when you start to worry plus that's my job as Dad" He said. "Thank you" I said. 

The last one was a big box. "This is from Amber Tara Cassie Xepher Stas, and I" Devyn said. I nodded and opened the box it was full with Dog stuff. "We know your saving for a dog so we wanted to help" Tara said. "Aw you guys thank you" I said. "Your welcome" they said .

Sam stood up "So Kat and I cant wrap your present so were gonna blind fold you and bring you to it" He said. "Okaaayyy" I said. Colby put the blindfold on me and helped guide me through the house I could hear everyone following.

We stopped and Colby took off my blindfold. We were standing outside my closed bedroom door.

"HOLY SHIT A DOOR NO WAY" I said causing everyone to laugh. "Just open it" Sam said. I opened the door and gasped. Sam and Kat had redone the entire room for me. (Picture up top). I hugged Sam and Kat  "Thank you so much" I said crying. "Your welcome" They said 

"You still have one more present in there somewhere" Colby said and smiled
