Blood. Everywhere.

Swords clashing, katana's breaking, the lingering sound of fire. Everything could be heard, why was the kingdom in a war with another? No one knows, never will, unless someone is brave enough to interrupt the war. And step in personally. No one ever will. The war went on against 2 strong kingdoms.

Kaedehara Kingdom.
And,
Celestial Kingdom.

Both of the kingdoms were at good terms once, but now. That's only a little fairytale, the war was going on for years and years, spies being sent, small attacks being made. This time, they did not hold back of starting an actual war-zone. The screams of pain, the crying of mere warriors loosing a close war-partner, the sounds of animals running for their lives. It all scared the young prince,
Kaedehara Kazuha.
What a young age, to witness all of this. Oh did he love the kingdom, the nature it had, the big area he could play around safely in. Chatting with everyone he sees, simply.. Clueless. Of the real side of this cruel life and world. Now, he was witnessing it without any. Preparation.

"Protect the young prince, and our king!"

"Charge, do not back down!"

"No, please. You can't leave us!"

"Baby, shhh mama is here.."

There the young prince was hiding with a trusted knight and best friend of his, in the before-calm castle's tower. Watching the horrific site, right before his own eyes..

T-"Kazu, listen to me. When I give you my signal, you are simply gonna RUN. Sprint, whatever you can do, to get away from this war-zone as fast as possible. Got it?"

K-"Tomo- [a faint sob] please, come with me! Father already is probably bleeding out in there, and- and- my ma, she-..."

Oh the sobs of the pained young prince, pained his knight even more..

T- [a small necklace was given, gently placed on to the prince's palm, then shut close by the knight.] "This, keep this. If I will not make it, please. Do not take it off." [He puts on another necklace on himself, showing the half crown.] "We will always stay connected like this. Got it? I love you with all my heart Kazu, you are my best friend. No matter my status of life. Dead, alive, you are always. My top priority."

As the young prince closed in the other half of the necklace, a loud sound was heard. They shot a canon-ball at the tower. Oh if the knight did not act quick, maybe both of them would be dust by now. The brave knight's vision glowed bright, his desire to protect his kingdom and his young prince was unbeatable.

One last hug, and the knight, has pushed the prince into the forest. Not paying attention, being stabbed by the heart, right in front of the prince's gaze from far away..

Ehhe! So? How did you think of my new writing style? I think it was a big improvement! Let's pretend I did not cry from re-reading a literal prologue I wrote a minute ago.. Anyway.. I will never forget my oh-so-iconic line.
