Ch. 33; -Trust Me, Once More-

They were hold captive in separate rooms, and thats what Kazuha feared the most. He hated being alone, at all.

A guard came in and dragged him to another room made out of dark wood. Amd there stood The Doctor, mixing substances in vials.

"Greetings, take a seat." The albino sits down hesitantly on one of the marble chairs. Watching the others every move. "You probably know me since Kunikuzushi told me my name. Ah right.. I wasn't supposed to call him that." He raises one of his eyebrows up in a confused manner. "Kunikuzushi? Scaramouche has another name?" The teal-haired man chuckles. "Yeah. Of course, this was one of his 1st names.. I'll let you figure it out yourself."

He stares at the clock. "Do you know why I took you in?" Kazuha looks away for one second before looking back just to see Dottore right in front of his face. "It's because you are going to be useful in a trade with the Celestial Kingdom. Your death, exchanged for many useful resources." His eyes widened. He needed to get out. He needed a plan. He atleast needed to rescue Heizou.

"Maybe just maybe I'll let your dear friend out.. if you help me with something." Kazuha glances up in anticipation. "I'll need help with some experiments.. do you agree?"

The albino nods lowly, watching the doctor get a vial. If he was going to die, he needed to atleast save his dear friend. "Drink this. I need to see the side effects on human beings." The prince looks at the liquid he had in his hand. "I won't die right?" The teal-haired man smiled. "Only a 2.53% chance. Drink it all for me."

"..." Kazuha takes a sip first, a sweet yet bitter taste filling his mouth. It tasted like some kind of fruit. He drank it all and handed the vial back to the doctor.

He was staring at him with a smile on his face. "Perfect.. thank you, I'll let your friend out after this." Kazuha was confused for a second. But then it hit him, his head became dizzy, his vision blurred as he tried to hold on the chair. Feeling chains getting tugged on every part of his body. His head, neck, arms and wrist, waist, legs.. the chains were designed to hold somebody in place too. Possibly hung up on the wall or strapped to a bed. In his last seconds he saw the doctor come up to him with a blindfold.

Scaramouche on the other hand was tasked with letting Heizou out. "Saving me after betraying me?" The raven sighs. "Look shut up I didint know they would be here!The boat I got was right next to theirs and I didint see it being taken away. We need to find Kazuha and run away." The detective looks at him with suspicion. "Nuh-uh. Don't think I'll trust you that easily." Scaramouche sighs again. "For Kazuha atleast. Queen knows where The Doctor took him. All I know he would be forced to take something that would pass him out and taken to an experiment room."

Heizou's eyes widen.

"What." Completelh ignoring the second part. The raven lowers his head just thinking about it. This was how his 1st days in the Fatui went. Always getting experimented on.

"I.. know the experiment room or something on the ship. Do you have a weapon?" Heizou nods, and they start running to wherever the prince took them.

The sole reason Dottore wanted to expriment on the albino was because he wanted to see how drugs worked on a person that works with medicine. His body should of had gotten some kind of effects from the medicine work, so The Doctor wanted to see the effects. And, who cares? He just needed to deliver his body if he died. Win-win. Right?

The prince slowly woke up as he looked around the room. Marble polishing that made sure you can't climb or anything with a strong wooden door with 3 layers. At this point, might as well give up.

His weapon has been taken, atleast the necklace stayed.

The Doctor came in re-reading what happend, his notes, his schedule, and what will happen when they get off the boat. As if to lighten up the spirits. Then he left. That was quick. Or was it?

"Room number 567.. room number 667.. room number 867..? We need 767." Scaramouche looks at the labels, frustrated. "What kind of a number system is this?" The raven sighs sliding down to the floor by the wall. "Some stupid shit they made up to apperantly confuse people. Look just please be helpful and look around." Heizou nods as he goes to the end of the hallway, then takes a right. "Restricted Zone". That's it!

"Aight crow prince, over here!" Scaramouche instantly stands up and runs to the place. He types in the code, and they were met with 5 rooms.

"896.. 234.. 610.. ah! 767." They try to open the door but it was locked. On the other side, Kazuha heard all the commotion. But felt drowsy of whatever drug Dottore gave him. Some compartments opened up and released gas into his chamber or room, and he doesn't remember the rest.

After what felt like 450 tries, Scaramouche finally cracked the code + key lock and barged in, instantly coughing at the gas that remained. Heizou walks in afterwards, instantly hugging the other. "Were we too late?" The raven looks around, seeing no potential blood splatter or anything, he shakes his head "no." The detective lets out a sigh.

"Hm..?" Kazuha finally turned his head towards the two from the wall he has been staring at. "Kazuha! God damn it. Oi Scara check up on him I'm gonna go out and check for any guards." They both nod as the berry-head leaves.

Just the two of them now. And a broken line of trust to repair.

"Kaz.. let me-" before he could finish, "No need. I'm alright. I'll just need help walking." His voice lowered down towards the end. Then "woke up" again. He sighs, "Darling. Look, I know. This was a big mistake. You have a big place for trust in your heart, but right now. I'll need you to trust me. Just for the sake of our safety. Then, when we are safe, I'll let you scream at me, do whatever, but just let me take you to safety."

The albino shifts a little.

"Once more. Let's get through this, together?"
