Ch. 6; -Two Opposites-

The wind blew calmly against the windows of the castle, as the rays of sunshine passed through the gaps of the sealed curtains, right onto the albino's face.

Groaning softly, he slowly opens his eyes. Finally sitting up properly, Kazuha makes his way to the bathroom for his morning routine. After that, he goes to the wardrobe and picks an outfit that matched with the autumn leaves. Just as he got out, a knock on the door was heard, the same butler came in.

"Greetings, Prince Kaedehara. Breakfast is in.. [The brunette looks at the clock] 12 minutes. For today our breakfast contains a large amount of fruit based meals. Such as fruit salad, sliced fruits, fruit cupcakes. Please do come shortly."

Kazuha watches as the butler bows down, then exists the suit. What could he do in 12 minutes? Maybe help out again. He thought of it for a second, but on the second glance, he could drop something accidently. Considering he was woken up late at night. He could just wait beside the dining table, and watch it get prepared. So he also leaves his suit shortly after, making his way to the Dining Hall.

Seeing many of the royal members already sat down around the table, Kazuha thought he also should. He looked around for a bit, noticing Ei, Makoto, Miko, and also Scaramouche missing. If Ei wasn't here Miko wouldn't be either, Makoto might be holding up because of her health. How about Scaramouche? He was too busy thinking about it, until he heard a small bell ringing, shortly after seeing the last 4 sitting down.

Everyone began their meal, chatting, talking about work, telling their stories. Kazuha was in his own thoughts thinking about his own Kingdom. He missed chatting with his family members and other royals while his knight wouldn't leave his side for even a moment. Right after his meal, he would always invite his best friend to a game of tag, maybe even hide and seek time to time. Always showing him the new melodies he learned or discovered on the leaves..

Swallowing his feelings in, he tried to finish his own meal quicker. It didin't go as expected. Miss Makoto started coughing non-stop, He watched as Miss Ei and a few maids rushed to her, as the few others rushed to get medicine. He glances at Scaramouche, but he was already leaving.

Thinking of what to do, he also gets up and follows the other quietly. They were heading towards Scaramouche's room, and Kazuha didint know what to do, deciding he would wait a couple minutes after the raven entered, he would knock.

After a while, he went up to the door. Breathing in heavily as he builds up all of his courage and knocks.

Kazuha was slightly nervous at this point, maybe It was a bad idea? As soon as he was about to leave, he heard the door creak open slightly, he turns around to see Scaramouche looking at him.

He realized that "stare" didint give off his cold behavior, instead it was filled with panic and sadness. Maybe no one else could tell the difference, but you cannot hide from the young prince. Immideatly stepping in, closing the door behind, Kazuha leads the other onto the cushion couch. Both of them sat down, Scaramouche trying his best to look away.

Kazuha gently cupped the prince's cheeks, making him look at himself. No words were shared yet although they both understood eachother clearly. The raven slightly nudged closer to the other, as if he was scared to ask for comfort. Once seeing Kazuha's reassuring face, he lets himself fall onto the other's shoulder. Letting out small sniffles every few seconds. "You are scared of loosing a family member aren't you?" Scaramouche stiffens at those words. He wasn't exactly "scared". More.. uncomfortable and helpless. Yet he still nods slightly, gripping onto Kazuha's shoulder tightly. The other understood he doesn't like to talk about his emotions all that much, so he stays silent. Instead, giving gentle pats time to time.
