Ch. 13; -One Reflection-

The next day arrived, the sun shining. Scaramouche also fell asleep while holding Kazuha in his arms, not realizing the time. He slightly shifts to the other side, moving the other with him resulting in the albino to cling on closer. He merely smiled at him, hugging him tighter. He slowly gets up, gently shifting Kazuha onto the mattress while checking the clock.

"4:12.. how did I wake up so early..?" He shakes the thought of, and walks in the bathroom to do his usual routine. Today was an important day, Yae Miko has announced that all the royal family members and high-ranked soldiers should come to the grand hall, to discuss about the up-coming war. One thing was sure, he needed to get Kazuha out of here. Death, or not. He would feel too guilty to leave Kazuha alone again, so he would just wait until the other wakes up, not like this war topic can be kept a secret forever. He would learn sooner or later, but letting him learn the news in a way everyone else also does would be better.

7:10 AM, and finally the albino wakes up. I guess, not really. He kept whining about the time and not wanting to get up. So guess what Scaramouche did, picked him up and dropped him on the sofa. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR? ITS 7 AM SIR GRUMPY." Scaramouche just chuckles, telling him to get ready. Though confused and still mad, Kazuha complies.

As it was all done, they were waiting for one of the Knights to come and take them to the grand hall. It was a priority to have each Royality member to have a guard or knight, at all cases. Finally, they see a knight walking towards them. "That's the knight who is going to escort us?" Kazuha whispers to the raven, in response getting a nod. The knight stands in front of them, bowing. "Greetings Prince Scaramouche, and Sir Kazuha. I am Nico, your personal guard for the time. Shall we take on our way now?"

Scaramouche nods, holding the other's hand as they follow the knight. There was no to the smallest reaction from Kazuha, though he was melting inside. Once they got there, the knight opens the door revealing a large room, with a big table in the middle and many seats. Knights on each side of the door, and near the table corners. Kazuha, slightly nervous entered behind the raven. No, he didint tell him what was the reason of the meeting yet.

They moved a bit far from the table, more towards the back of the room. Nico following close. Apperantly they were waiting for the queen, and the Captain of Soldier-Training. In the meanwhile Scaramouche explained the whole situation about the war, weird attack etc.

"But.. isint this basically my fault? If they get me it will be over." He slightly whispered. "Nothing is your fault in this Kazuha. The Celestial Kingdom is stupid for for trying to end the bloodline of the Kaedehera Kingdom. I dont know the history, but whatever it is, it's stupid. Destroying a whole Kingdom just because you got mad? Huh. Kids.." Kazuha, still slightly worried looks away. The main door opened with a gust of wind hitting his body.

".." The albino quickly turns his head towards the door. "Kazuha?" Not a single sound, he was just staring there.

"SCARAMOUCHE DUCK!" The raven, slightly confused was pulled down to the floor by the other, right after a set of arrows were shot. The metal armor of some knights hitting the ground was ear-lingering. "How the fuck did you know.." The prince asks whispering, luckily the place they were in was a shadowy corner, in which Scaramouche could use his dark clothing to blend in, while having Kazuha behind.
