Here I was, sat in the back of a police car getting taken to my home. It wasn't even a big deal, i stole things all the time. No one ever caught me, at least not until now.

The policemen walked me to the front door, guarding me as if i were to run away. Which to be fair, i would've if i were on my own.

"Your'e home ear- Oh hello officers?" My mum looked concerned.

"Miss Wheeler? We caught your daughter stealing." Chief Powell straight up told my mum directly to her face. Straight away, she looked shocked and disapointed.

"What? Oh I- I'm sorry officers. I'll have a talk with her. It will not happen again." She assured them, and they left peacefully. "Samantha how could you steal?! If you wanted something you could've just asked!" She yelled, drawing the attention of my whiny brother Mike.

"I'm sorry okay! I don't know why-"

"I don't want you hanging out with that Munson boy.. he has completely changed you!"

"What?! You think this is Eddie's fault? He has nothing to do with this-" I argued. "How come Mike still gets to see him?!"

"Same goes for you Micheal. No more Hellfire!"

"Hey what?! What did i do to deserve this?" Mike squealed.

The noise was too much for me to handle, i took myself to my room, just to calm down. I got into my bedroom, only to be followed by Mike

"Piece of shit, why'd you even steal anyway?"

"I got bored, if you must know. Now will you please leave and get out of my room. Go bother Nancy."

"She's not here. You would know if you weren't out stealing!" He said, raising his voice. "Now thanks to you i can't see Eddie!"

"You're actually gonna listen to that shit?" I scoffed.

Mike rolled his eyes, his mouth parching open as if he were about to say something. But he changed his mind, and left at last.

A few hours later, i could smell dinner. Knowing it was ready, i took it as a queue to go down. We all sat at the dinner table and began to tuck into our food.

"So Nancy how did your interview for Hawkins Tiger go?" My mum asked, whilst feeding Holly a forkful of mashed potato.

"It went good, they want me to start tomorrow, when the basketball game is on." Nancy explained happily.

"That is great news Nancy, i'm so proud of you. Isn't that good Ted?"

"Well done Nancy, would be nice to see Samantha try something out for a change." My dad spoke, clearly talking about how i do nothing.

"I do things, dad." I tried to assure.

"Like what exactly?" Mike added.

"I-" I couldn't think of anything.

"The only thing you can do is steal, obviously."

"Shut up Mike." I said, gritting my teeth.

"You know what Sam, maybe your dad is right? It could be nice for you to start a job like your sister." My mum said.

"I don't want a job." I said, my head down.

The rest of dinner was just about Nancy and her new job. They always compared me to her, just because we were the same age. Nancy and I were completely opposite twins, she knew what she wanted and went for it. I mean, she even had Jonathan to make her life more complete.

I, on the other hand, didn't know what i wanted. I only ever went to Hellfire club and school.

Eddie Munson was my best friend, he understood me and I understood him. Mainly because we were basically the same; you know, into D&D, metal, etc and we even had to redo school years. Which explains why we're still in school at our age.

My alarm clock went off, making me wake up. It was the last day of school before spring break. Which meant it was Eddie's final campaign, and it was the champions game in basketball.

I put on a pair of high-wasted jeans and my hellfire shirt. Not forgetting my black converse. Walking out of my room, i noticed Mike was still asleep. I rolled my eyes, smiling knowing he would be late to school like always.

It was rare for me to have breakfast on school days, for some reason in the mornings i never had an appetite.

"I'm going now, bye mum."

"Have a good day sweetie, try your hardest!"
