A car was heard pulling up to the hideout, immediately i felt Eddie's body return tense.

"It's alright, it's the others." I assured him, then Dustin, Steve, Nancy, Robin and Max came in with a bag full of food and drinks.

"Delivery service," Steve smiled and raised his eyebrows.

Eddie exhaled a sigh of relief and tucked into a box of honeycomb cereal, with a bottle of Yoohoo on the side.

"So uh, we got some good news, and uh, some bad news." Dustin said. "How do you prefer it?"

"Bad news first, always." Eddie said, taking a sip out of his drink.

"Alright, bad news." He sighed. "The cops are pretty convinced you killed Chrissy, they're hunting for you."

"Like, 100% convinced." Robin said.

"And the good news?" Eddie questioned.

"Your name hasn't gone out to the public yet." Robin added. "But if we found out about you, it's only a matter of time before others do."

"Hunt the freak, right?"

"Exactly." Dustin answered.

"Shit." Eddie muttered.

"So before all that happens, we find whatever is killing these people, kill it and prove your innocence."

"That's all, Dustin? That's all?" Eddie replied sarcastically.

"Yeah no, that's pretty much it."

"Listen Eddie, i know everything Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional, but we've actually experienced stuff like this before. I mean, they have, a few times. Me, once. Mine was more human-flesh based there's was more smoke-related, but the bottom line is, collectively, i feel we got this." Robin said quickly.

"We usually rely on this girl who has superpowers, but uh, those wen't bye- bye, so.." Steve started.

"So we're technically in more of the kinda..." Robin said, and Steve finished.

"Brainstorming phase."

"Brainstorming," Robin agreed.

"There- there's nothing to worry about.." Dustin said slowly, making Steve scoff.

"Yeah, totally." Steve scoffed.

The silence was broken when sirens were heard.

Dustin chucked Eddie a spare walkie talkie he had been carrying, so we could stay in contact with him.

"Shit." I muttered.

"Tarp, tarp." Nancy said, and Eddie put himself under the boat tarp yet again. Everyone ran to the window to see where the cops cars were heading, and looked hurried as they headed to the door.

"Sam, come on!" Steve stood at the door waiting for me, my breath increased, and i lifted the tarp a little bit- quickly enough to tell Eddie i'd be back.

"Eddie i will be back straight after i know what is happening- I promise you, i will not leave you on your own. Just stay right here." I said quickly, Eddie nodded, and watched me as i ran to the door.

"Promise." I said, before turning outside and heading to the car.

"Where do you think they're heading? To the road near the trailer park?" Nancy asked.

"Now is not the time- just follow them and drive!" Max said.

Following the cops at extreme speed, i was surprised we didn't crash, but Nancy's driving really wasn't that bad.

"Shit." Dustin muttered.

We all got out of the car, and the cops were live on the TV.

"Another Hawkins student has been killed earlier today. We found the body just outside the trailer park. We are not yet able to give any information, but what we can tell you is that this is our prime suspect. His name is Eddie Munson." They held a poster of Eddie up. "Leader of the Hellfire. If you spot him there will be a reward. But for now, please stay indoors and don't try to go anywhere."

"Fuck fuck fuck. This is not good." I whispered.

"We have to find out what is doing this as soon as possible." Max said.

"Isn't that Eddie's uncle?" Nancy spotted.

"Looks like it, why?" Steve replied.

"One minute."

Nancy walked over to Eddie's uncle, meanwhile the rest of us were deciding on what to do.

"What are we gonna do? He cant stay in that hideout forever, he's barely even hidden!" I panicked.

"It's gonna be okay Sam, nothing is going to happen to Eddie." Robin tried to calm me down.

Her and Steve shared a look at each other.

"What?" I questioned.

"Nothing, it's just you really care about him don't you?" Steve smiled.

"Well yeah, he's my best friend. I'd be the same if this was happening to any of you."

"If you say so," Robin laughed.

I rolled my eyes, i did care about Eddie a lot.

"Can Nancy like, hurry up?" I snarled. She was always taking forever when it came to conversations. She's ask loads of questions until she had the answer clear.

"Guys, i think i may have found out something." She walked back over to us. "It took some persuading, but, i managed to get some information out from Eddie's uncle. He mentioned something about Victor Creel. Apparently these murders are the exact same thing he did to his family in the 50s."

"Victor Creel?" Robin questioned.

"I think i'm gonna head to the library and try to find any news papers from that time. Find stuff out, you know?"

"Great, i'll join you." Steve said happily.

"I think it's better if you look after the others, Steve." I said.

"What? I'm not their babysitter." He scoffed.

"I'll go with Nance, you look after the others. Sam, you can stay with them and when the time is right, you go to Eddie again." Robin said.

"Okay," I nodded.
