We walked inside, everything was exactly the same. Just the vines and slop everywhere.

"Might be time to get a maid Wheeler's." Robin said.

"Come on, I don't want to stay here longer than we have to." Nancy answered.

Everyone began to head up, Steve stopped and looked as though he had found something out.

"You coming Steve?" I said.

"I'll be right behind you."

Nancy led us into her bedroom, and went into her wardrobe. So that's where she hid them? Smart of her. She took out a shoe box. Even more clever. But once she opened the box, there were no guns.

"Those aren't guns." Eddie said.

"These heels are pointy, but i was hoping for something along the lines of a deadly projectile." Robin said.

"This just doesn't make sense." Nancy said.

"Maybe you left them somewhere else around the house?" Eddie suggested.

"There's a six year old in the house, i know where i keep my guns. And also- i threw these away years ago."

Her attention was bought to some flashcards sitting on the side next to where she had gotten the box. She stared at them, picked them up and started to have a flick through.

"I get that grades are important to you, but perhaps studying can wait til we get out of here?" Robin said.

"These are from sophomore chemistry." Nancy said, confused.

"Isn't this wallpaper old?" I asked.

"Yes! Yes..! This wallpaper- it- it's old." She looked around the room. "And this- this mirror went to a yard sale! And- you.. you're not supposed to be here." She picked up a stuffed animal from her bed. "No, i gave you to my cousin Joanna two years ago."

She picked up her journal, and began flicking through the pages. She paused.

"What is it?" Eddie asked.

"Nancy? You're freaking me out." Robin added.

"I think the reason my guns aren't here.. is because they don't exist- yet."

"They don't.... exist?" Eddie said, gritting his teeth at his last word.

"This diary should be full of entries. It's not, the last entry was from November 6th, 1983. The day Will went missing. The day the gate opened. We're in the past..."

I looked at Eddie, and we were all stunned. The silence was broken when we heard Steve calling Dustin from downstairs.

"Dustin? Hello? Dustin can you hear me?! Hello?!" He yelled, stumbling around the room like he was high.

"Maybe he really does have rabies, right Robin?" I chuckled.

"Steve what are you doing?" Nancy asked quickly.

"He's here- Henderson's here, that little shit's here- he's in the walls or something- listen."

We all looked confused and looked at him as though he was crazy, before he started shouting Dustin's name again.

"Dustin! Hello?! Can you hear me?! Dustin?!"

All of a sudden, Steve proved himself to be right. Dustin's voice echoed.

"How and why is there a gate at Lovers Lake?" I heard him say.

"Dustin?" Nancy called.

"Dustin?" Eddie called, pulling out the curtain.

"I don't think he's behind there, Munson." I chuckled.

"You never know in this goddamn place." He smiled.

"Dustin!?" Robin yelled.

"Alright, either he cant hear us or he's being a total douche bag." Steve said.

"The lights- Will- he found a way to communicate through the lights!" Nancy said, and went to flick the light switch on and off. "It's not working!"

"Guys, are you seeing this?" I said.

The light had weird glistening dust around it. We all surrounded it, Nancy moved her hand inside it to see if anything happened.

"Woah," Eddie muttered.

Then, we all moved our hands into it, and felt it.

"It- tickles." Steve said.

"It, kinda feels good." I said, and i noticed Eddie look at me and smile in the corner of my eye, hearing him make a small chuckle.

"Does anyone know morse code?" Nancy asked.

"No." I replied, same with everyone else.

"Wait, does SOS count? Is that- is that good?" Eddie asked softly. He began to move his hands and create a message to Dustin, spelling SOS.

We all moved into the bedroom, after Dustin spoke and told us to. There was more dust stuff on the bed because they had lit up some sort of light.

Nancy spelled out 'Hi'. You could hear Dustin laugh Hi back.

"Yes!" We cheered.

"Hi!" Eddie leaned in and spoke aggressively. I chuckled a little.

'Stuck'was the next word spelled out. Dustin asked if we were stuck from the water gate. We had to let him know it was guarded by bats.

'Guarded' was spelled next. He understood that the water gate was guarded, making us cheer again.

"Perfect,yes, yes, yes." Steve said.

"We have a theory that the water gate isn't the only gate, and that there's one at every murder site." Dustin communicated.

"Does anybody understand what he's talking about?" Nancy asked.

"Nope." I said.

"No idea." Eddie shook his head.

Nancy wrote out a '?'.

"Okay.. seriously!? How many times do i have to be right on the money before you guys trust me?" Dustin said irritated.

"Jesus Christ, this kids gotta get his ego in check." Steve said.

"It's his tone, right?" Eddie leaned in.

"I know." Steve agreed.

"How far is your trailer?" Nancy asked Eddie.

"7 miles." He said.

"Um, I know we're like stuck in time or some shit, but haven't you guys always had bikes?" Robin asked.

"Yes, we have. Follow me."

I led them to the garage and we got out all the bikes. Except there were only 4. Nancy and I had our own, so did mum, she shared hers with Holly, but the thing was- our dad, Ted, he didn't have one because it broke years ago.

"I'll hop on the back of my one with Eddie." I said.

We were all set and started biking towards the trailer park.
