I finally made it. I finally made it to my new house. Or in my heart, my new life.

4 years I was depressed, alone, and sad. It was awful. Especially for my mom. She took it hard, but powered through it.

My mom was there with me for every step of the way. She held my hand when a tear slipped out of my eye. She gave me the care I needed when I was broken. She was the one who brought me up high when I was down low.

Now I moved off at 23, ready to become a positive and happy person.

I dropped my last box on to the floor of my house. It wasn't a big house. A small kitchen, living room, and a bedroom and bathroom. I personally loved it.

I waved goodbye to the driver of the moving truck. Then I made sure I had everything. I smiled at the fact it was actually happening. I don't know what moving out got me so glad about since I was being far away from my mom. Maybe the fact I had so much more freedom.

I started to unload the piled boxes one by one. I grabbed pots and pans from a box and placed them on the counter in the kitchen. I remember the day me and my mom went out shopping for new items for my new home.

I plopped down on the couch with a loud and long sigh. I finally finished unpacking after about and hour and a half. I still had to organize some stuff, but I decided I needed a break.

Looking around the house at every corner and crack, I started brainstorming ideas to cure my boredness that had just approached.

I thought about talking to the neighbors, but I didn't enjoy speaking to people by myself. And what if the neighbors were old grouchy people? They would just yell at me to get off their property. I laughed out loud at the thought of that.

Maybe I should check out the mall, I thought. Who doesn't love a good shop? Not me!

I jumped up and grabbed my wallet off the coffee table and headed out.

Unfortunately, I didn't have my license. Sucks, but then again walking is good for you so I'm not super bummed.

I finally arrived at the mall with a hopeful mind: Hoping for cute clothes that is.

I spotted a familiar store and walked in. They had great clothes, but not for my wallet. I looked at the designer shirts and dresses, and then looked at the price tags and thought different.

I eventually came across a strapless navy blue dress. It was super adorable (pic on side)  and super affordable. Guess who left that store with a new dress?

That was part one and I really hoped you guys liked it! Comment if you think my chapters should be longer. Idk. Ok anyway thanks for reading
Edit: hi guys. I wrote this 3 years ago and didn't understand how to write so I'm sorry it sucks. I'm fixing it.
