Zeus returned from the auto garage as the other three sat in chairs of the waiting room of the auto body shop. Benjamin, Volkov, and Amaria shoot their gaze to Zeus just as Volkov shoots up from his seat.
"Well?" Volkov asks, his ears perking up.
Zeus sighs out, placing his hands on his hips. "Good news and bad news... The good news is that this place has the camper shell for my truck." Zeus says before crossing his arms. "The bad news is that it's gonna take hours to install... Won't be till sundown till we'll be able to roll out again." Zeus answered before plopping down in an empty seat.
"So... we have time to kill? Benjamin asks.
"Seems like it." Zeus replies before crossing his arms behind his head as he reclined back in his seat. "I dunno about you kiddos, but I want to leave as soon as it's ready, so I'm gonna stick around here." He then says before extending his feet out in front of him and crosses his ankles.
Amaria turns to Benjamin and gently grips his wrist. "Ooh! I wanna go see the town!" Amaria says excitedly, turning her body in her seat towards Benjamin.
Benjamin's eyes widen as he glances over to Amaria.
"Please?" She then begs. "I promise I won't ask for anything." Amaria says before hopping up to her feet softly while still holding Benjamins' wrist.
Volkov watched the two, smirking softly to himself and crossing his arms. Benjamin looked up to Amaria, seeing the smile across her face. He then smiles at her before rising to his feet.
"I can't say no to a face like that." Benjamin replies.
"Yay!" Amaria exclaimed before skipping out of the auto shop lobby, the bells jingling as she exited the building. Benjamin then reached into his back pants pocket and pulled out his wallet before peering into the fold. He smiles to himself and ponders for a moment.
"Hey." Volkov then said, causing Benjamin to turn his attention to him.
"You two enjoy yourselves." Volkov said with a smirk.
Benjamin nodded his head to the wolf and returned the smirk before proceeding to exit the auto shop after Amaria.
Volkov watched as Benjamin swung open the door, his ears flicking at the sound of the doorbells.
"I'd give it a few years, at best." Zeus then said, adjusting himself in his seat.
Volkov chuckles, looking behind himself to Zeus. "I know you are jealous, but you could be a bit more supportive."
Zeus scoffed at Volkovs' remark. "I'm not jealous... I just know a thing or two about anthro women is all." Zeus answers.
"That is why you are still single, right?" Volkov asked before turning his body around to the canine and crosses his arms.
"Hey, I'll settle when I've had my fun." Zeus replies.
"You are so full of shit." Volkov chuckled.
Zeus then rolled his eyes. "Whatever... And anyway... We need to discuss our next move..."
As Benjamin left the building, Amaria approached his side and wrapped her arm around his arm.
"So... what should we check out first?" Amaria asked, looking around at the various shops, restaurants, bars, and even and offices buildings that lined the blocks and streets of the small downtown city.
