Victor let out a deep sigh as he plopped down on the tile floor of the operation room, finally coming to a rest as he lied his carbine flat across his lap. He panted out softly as he brought his face covering down, placing his head back against the wall of the operation room. As he did, he watched as the anthros began to huddle around the large table in the middle of the room as Aiyanna, Zeus, and Daniel reached into their packs and placed all the intel they had gathered from the raid, laying out dozens of documents that reveal the extent of US military involvement in After Common Era's operations. Aiyana let out a soft sigh as she slipped her pack onto her back after dumping the documents, weaving past the other anthros as they gathered around the table and made her way back across the operation room. Taking a seat next to Victor, she placed her head upon his shoulder.

"If this is true, then the Nation's Army will greatly expand the war effort." Zeus says, placing his hands upon the table and begins to observe each document.

"We knew the US military had to be involved somehow... but to be sending advisors and arms is something else entirely..." Volkov says, crossing his arms.

"Well, what is your guys next move then?" The gruff anthro asks, bringing a document down from his face and looks to Zeus and Volkov.

"We have to relay all of this straight to the World Embassy... this whole thing is bigger than anyone could have anticipated." Zeus says, looking to the anthro.

"And after that?" The gruff anthro then asks, placing the document down on the table.

"We do what we came here for. We go to the military base and disrupt it." Zeus replied, straightening his posture.

The gruff anthro then suddenly let out a sigh through his nostrils and gently shakes his head. "As much as I'd want to support the Nation's Army, I think attacking that base is a stupid idea."

Zeus furrows his brow, crossing his arms. "I'm afraid we don't have a choice."

"Well then, just how do you plan on doing that, captain?" The gruff anthro then said, placing his hands down on the table.

Zeus and the anthro stare each other down for a moment. After a moment of silence, Volkov stepped up to the table, breaking the silence.

"We were sent here to take the pressure off our forces in the west... and if the US ARMY is connected to After Common Era, then that base is our next move. Point blank." Volkov said.

Silence fell upon the room once again, the anthros glancing around amongst themselves for a moment. The gruff anthro then suddenly straightened his posture. "Well, if you are, you are going to need back up."

"Negative." Zeus sharply said. "We cannot compromise our mission by taking you with us." Zeus said sharply, looking back down to the documents.

"That military base is gonna be crawling with soldiers." One of the anthros suddenly chimed in. "Just how do you expect to take them on?"

"We won't." Zeus answered, looking back up from the table. "We disrupt them."

The room fell silent once again. Victor listened to the conversation, having finally caught his breath. He understood the desire for these anthros to take the fight straight to the source, but he also understood that commanding a non-enlisted force of this size would not only be unorthodox, but also an overwhelming task.

Letting out a sigh, the gruff anthro uncrossed his arms and placed his hands on his hips, shaking his head softly. "Fine... do what you must. And, if need be, take anything you might need."

"That would be greatly appreciated." Volkov said.

Then all of a sudden, the sound of static filled the room followed by a voice. "Commander Morris, come in!" The voice exclaimed with the sound of gunshots being picked up in the background.
