Victor wiped the snow from his protective goggles as he trudged through the harsh blistering winds of the blizzard, doing his best to keep up with his team ahead of him as they moved along the shoreline of the lake, avoiding the neighborhoods and communities that ran through the hills next to them. The team had been on the move for what seemed like hours; Victor having no idea if they were close to the downtown area of the city or not. The wind continued to howl as the blizzard raged, causing his winter gear to flutter uncontrollably. All of a sudden, he notices Aiyana stopping in her tracks ahead of him, her ears perking up. Victor stopped as well with bated breath, not knowing what was happening. Aiyana then turned her gaze back around to Victor, raising her left hand, pointing her index finger to the sky and giving it a quick twirl before sprinting ahead, disappearing into the shroud of white. Victor tightens his grip around his carbine, bringing it close to his chest, and takes off after Aiyana.

Eventually, his team reemerges from the veil of snow and Victor finds them standing outside what appeared to be a dilapidated shack. Zeus held a device in his hands with Volkov and Daniel leaning against the outside wall of the shack, Aiyana watching as Victor jogged over to their position.

Zeus then turns off his device and stuffs it into a pocket of his pack, turning around to Volkov.

"The GPS is showing some large structures due northwest of this position." Zeus says, looking to a device on his wrist. "We move inland and find shelter."

The team had then advanced up the shore and through a tree line, finding themselves sprinting across a large empty patch of land. Victor followed closely behind the team and scanned his surroundings, seeing only a snow curtain obscuring everything around him. Eventually, the team had reached the shoulder of a major street that ran through the town. On the other side of the street were several multiple story structures. Zeus gives a quick glance both ways of the road and sprints across, his team following suit. Racing across a parking lot, the team stops along the brick wall of the building, moving along it before finding double doors and that led inside. Zeus grips the handle of the door and gives it a pull, but finds it locked.

"Dammit... Daniel, get over here and crack open this door." Zeus says, stepping back.

"Aye, aye." Daniel says as he jogged over to the door and removes his pack. He kneels down in front of the door and removes tools to pick the locking mechanism.

Just then, the ears of the anthros perk up as the sound of engines could be heard coming from down the road of the town.

"Hurry it up, Daniel, we're about to have company." Aiyana said, watching Daniel as she leaned up against the brick wall.

Victor panted softly as he leaned against the wall with Aiyana and Volkov, keeping his carbine close to his chest. The sound of engines draws closer and closer.

Finally, the sound of the lock clicks. "Got it." Daniel says, quickly putting his tools back in his pack. Zeus pulls the door open as the headlights could be seen through the shroud of snow.

The team rushes into the building as Zeus closes the metal door behind him, the sound of it echoing through the halls of the building.

"Woah..." Aiyana says as she gazed down the dark hallway of what seemed to be a hospital wing, Victor bringing down his face covering and hood.

Zeus slowly walked through the dark hallway of the hospital wing, observing directories and name plates of offices and doctors that worked here.

"This building seems secure enough..." Volkov says softly.

But right as he said those words, the ears of the anthros perk up once again. Victor heard no noise but raised his guard. "What is it?" He whispers.

"Voices... but I can't pinpoint exactly where they are coming from." Aiyana answered quietly.
