So, maybe I didn't want to come to the bonfire. I seriously wanted a simple night in, snuggled up to my blanket while watching Scooby Doo or anything that would give me entertainment. Bonnie had to drag me out of my bedroom, with the help of my dear ole sister. I was forced to wear a dress and knee-high boot, but I was grateful they didn't sit me down on the toilet seat of my bathroom to completely change me into a different person with their makeup. The most makeup I owned was mascara and chap stick, and to me that was enough.
Caroline had gone to mingle while Bonnie and I hung with Elena. We were waiting for Caroline to come back or Stefan to show up. He said he would come, which one of the reasons why I came, and why I was forced to be over dressed for something like this. Bonnie began to tease Elena, who hadn't stop thinking about the said boy. I was sitting down watching the two standing with beers in their hands, I hate the taste and smell of alcohol. Unless its liquor I won't drink it. "Come on, Elena. Just admit it."
"Oh, ok, so he's a little pretty." My head snapped to her when she said that, even Bonnie gave her a look.
Setting down my water I rushed to stand up, "Bitch, you better be joking. He has the prettiest eyes I have ever seen, those Blue eyes." They gave me a confused stare and I got quiet, 'What, did I say something wrong?" They told me to sit back down and handed me the water again and ignored me. "Are you seriously going to not talk to me?"
"Hange, you said blue eyes." I nodded with a shrug and sipped my water. "Stefan has green eyes, they're your favorite color. Are you okay?" I paused mid swallow; I didn't even notice. "Maybe your drink was laced." I tossed it to where there was a pile of trash, "You should get another one, we'll try it for you to check it, don't think about it too much." I sighed and reached my hand up asking her to help me up with a pout, she rolled her eyes and Elena laughed at us as we struggled to get me up. "Oh my god, did you binge eat again?!"
Finally, I got off the low chair and walked away from them, they went back to taking about Stefan and in all honesty, I was not interested in the subject at hand. I stumbled down the steps of the large gazebo, it was difficult to go down when there were horny teenagers making out on the steps and people constantly going up and down the place. At one point I even shoved someone out of the way, they had mistaken me for a buddy and wrapped their arm around my shoulder, I did not enjoy being touched by strangers, and I was a touchy person too.
I found the ice chest by the other side of the gazebo, there were about five of them and only one had nonalcoholic beverages. My hand froze as soon as it touched the ice-cold water, my skin tingled and though it was cold it burned hotter any burn I had ever gotten, specially from my curling iron. Quickly retracting my hand after finding a bottle of water I sighed now having to find a rag or paper towel to dry of my hand and the bottle. I turn around to begin my quest when I bumped into the hard chest of a person that had stood behind me. I hadn't notice them, and I took my sweet ass time looking for that water too.
"Sorry, I didn't realize you were standing right behind me." I said with a nervous laugh. When I looked up, I bushed back a strand of hair that had fallen to my face, the smile I had quickly faded, and I turned to leave.
His hand darted out and took my arm to pull me back. "Wait, I just want to talk to you." I shoot him a glare and try to get out of his grip, his hold not faltering even an inch. "Come on, you've been pushing me aside since half way through summer vacation. I don't even know what I did wrong." Snapping at him I snatched my arm away and stepped up to him.
"That is the thing with you, you never know what you do wrong. You think you're so innocent, when in reality you destroy the people who love you." My head shakes in overwhelming disbelief at his obliviousness. "You're so busy try to get in Vickie's pants you don't see the people who have been in love with you since forever."
