Stefan took us to Bonnie's grandma, Sheila. He sat me down on the couch and shook his head, tears that I had shed dried on my cheeks. I hated being seen like this, so vulnerable. Bonnie was on my side with Grams across. Elena and Stefan stood to my right watching as I took my wand and waved it to my broken wrist. "Brackium Emendo." We all watch carefully as my wrist slowly on its own went into place. I felt a wave of relief when the spell worked. I had read that if casted wrong then many things could happen, like remove the bone completely. I would have shit myself if that happened."No matter how much we try to stay out of it, witches are always dragged into the problems of vampires." Grams' gaze went from me to her granddaughter. "I'll open the tomb. You get your brother's girl and destroy the rest with fire. Then this will be all over."
"We still have to get Damon to agree." I shook my head at them.
Elena sighed, "He already agreed once. I'm sure we can convince him to do it." She looked to me for assistance, but I stayed quiet. "Hangelina, will you help me? Let's get Damon to agree so that he can finally get Katherine and he leave Mystic Falls like he had originally planned."
My bottom lip trembled no matter how much I bit on it to stop. "Okay." I nodded getting up and wincing.
Elena drove us to the boarding house in silence. When she stopped the car, I held her arm to stop her. "Let me talk to him. I don't think he'll be happy to see you." She nodded and unlocked the car. From her seat she watched me limp into the Salvatore home.
I walked into the living room where Damon was putting on his leather jacket. He was in front of me in an instant checking to see if I was hurt. "I'm going to have to change the locks," he joked smiling at me, but he froze when he saw the angry look on my face. "What's wrong?"
"You didn't go. I got hurt. They had Bonnie and Elena. You knew that I was gone!" I cried. My throat began to hurt, I had been holding in the pain. "Stefan showed up. He found us, but I was already with a broken wrist and a sprained ankle. Where were you!" I shoved at his chest, and he let me. He didn't stop me when my shoves turned into punches directed to his shoulders.
His hand caught both my wrists and inspected them. "Which one, who did it?" He had a sad look on his face as he watched my tears spill one by one. They burned my face as they rolled down my red tainted cheeks.
"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving Mystic Falls when you get Katherine? Why did you want my friendship if you were just going to toss me aside when you got what you came for? Was I just another pawn in your plan?" I gasped when my ankle twisted the wrong way causing me to fall forward. His arms caught me and took me to the couch. Damon sat me down and placed my legs on his thighs. His brows were crunched in the middle not saying anything.
"You're wrists are fine. How did they heal? Who fed you, their blood?" he snapped, question after question.
"Don't touch me." I said, my voice low and strained. I pulled my legs to my chest and took out my wand, "Episkey." The spell healed my ankle. I would have done it sooner, but I wanted him to feel guilty. He knew were Anna was keeping us and yet he didn't try to help us. "I didn't need blood, I can heal myself."
"I was just on my way over there—"
"I was gone since last night. You had all day!" My bottom lip began to tremble once more. "Why now? Its too late to apologize." I stood and turned to him. "Grams and Bonnie are opening the tomb tonight. Be there to pick up Katherine, or I'll burn her along with every other vampire in that tomb. I want you gone." Turning on my heel I walked out not waiting for him to say anything.
Elena was waiting silently in the car. She waited for me to put on the seatbelt then drove away quickly when she saw Damon walk out of his house. The car roared as she stepped on the gas.
