I think it is safe to say that there was a lot to go over. When I had entered Bonnie's grandmother's home, she gave me a large heavy box. Just by looking at it, I felt a headache form from thinking of all of the strange things I will find in there. 'Where will I even put it?' It's not like I can stash it in my closet or under my bed from its size.
I groaned throwing my head back frustrated, I bounced slightly bored on my bed. Apart from my bed the rest of the room was clean, along with my chair that usually has a pile of clothes on top, from when I wear something once and it's not dirty enough to was again. I just folded it and stashed the clothes into my closet at the very top. Carefully I moved my hand around in the box picking up a box.
The clear box was not for decoration, it simply stored a singular, large, white feather. I took it out of the box biting my lip contemplating on whether I should attempt at a spell. Wingardium Leviosa, since I knew the words already I could just try to practice is along with other simple spells that I could try to do within the comfort of my bedroom.
"Alright, let's do this." I clapped my hands once and took out my wand from my black pencil box that I keep under lock and key. Just for precautions. There was only one thing that I actually could hide under my bed, the book of spells Sheila gave me. I flipped through the pages till I found an easy one, "Maybe a new one." I hummed tapping on my chin. My eyes landed on a spell 'Lumos' and 'Nox'. Lumos brings light to the tip of my wand I rushed to the switch my door and turned it off then ran to the window and swung the curtains till it was pitch black.
I marvel over the brightness that the point of my wand brings. Going back to look over the open page I used the wand to see the words on how to wave the stick to incant Nox. The light, as I chanted, extinguish slowly. The smile on my face had begun to hurt my cheeks from the stretch, then quickly my happiness faded hearing the loud ringing of my phone. Caller ID said Elena, but all I read was Problems.
Before I could get a word out she spoke loudly in panic. "Hangelina, I know you said you needed space, but I need a favor. Could you go check on Jeremy at my place, there's also I need to talk to you about. Please?" She begged, I rolled my eyes and told her I'd be there soon. I didn't wait for a reply and hung up slipping my phone into my pocket and sat on my bed for a few seconds picking up the huge book and looking over the pages with a deep inhale, I flinch when I accidentally slit my index finger on the paper.
The book fell, sliding off the bed and landing on the floor with a thud. I took my wand and tossed it inside bedside table, the cabinet had been left ajar, so I used my foot to close it then turned back to textbook, like "manual". I frowned seeing that the page had flipped onto a different one. Three spells caught my attention. Accio, Alohomora, and Muffliato. Slamming it close I placed it on bac on the floor and moved it with my foot until it wasn't visible under my bed.
I headed out the door and left walking to Elena's to check up on her little brother, my ex-crush. Perfect.
Not bothering to knock I pushed the door open and kicked it closed behind me. "Jeremy?" I called out turning my head towards the living room, when I saw he wasn't there I walked further into the house. "Are you alive?"
I heard footsteps coming from upstairs, then they became loud until they stopped behind me. "What are you doing here?" He had a teasing smile on his face, his large arms were crossed over his chest.
Giving him a tight smile, I lifted my arms then dropped them back to my side. "Elena asked me to come check on you." His face faltered slightly.
We both turned to the door, there was someone banging on it urgently. Jeremy sped walked over and just as his hand touched the knob and was about to turn it the door was pushed. "The sun is killing me. My eyes are on fire."
